this is actually a really good idea I think I'll do that instead actually ok guys, tell me your favourite episodes that don't include any classic monsters.
The Library, both parts. Especially part 2. The girl in the fireplace. Also I liked gridlock. Gridlock has those crustaceans though, briefly.
I don't think Patrick Stewart would act in doctor who. He said if he knew star trek was going to become so popular he wouldn't of chosen the role.
He has since said if they asked him to do another Star Trek he wouldn't even think about it and accept it instantly. He has also done X-Men. He also begged for a role in Doctor Who round the time David was leaving. David was going to try and sort something out of him. When asked about it later Patrick said "sadly I think that ship has sailed". Round the same time the picture of Dalton, Simm and Tennant leaked on the net and everybody thought Dalton was Patrick Stewart with a wig. So he wants to be in Doctor Who.
I'm wondering if The Silence are actually still out there. If you wanna read my speculation, I posted it on Reddit, I'm too tired to type it out all over again and copy + pasting it would just be boring. [editline]20th May 2013[/editline] Also have this:
Why didn't you do one with Tom Baker?
Why didn't you do one with Tom Baker?
2nd row furthest left
This was posted on BBC just now. Pretty interesting.
2nd row furthest left
The real Tom Baker one.
This was posted on BBC just now. Pretty interesting.
I <3 Strax. Dunno why you were rated dumb. I thought it was very informative. Although I still want to know how they made him so small!! Must be really good CGI or they intentionally shrank him in the wash.
Right guys, I'm going to do a best of the best stream this Friday/Saturday and I'm really interested in what your favourite episodes are. Please post itt with your favourite/what you consider to be the best episode from each series - two parters allowed, obviously starting from 2005
Definitely Midnight, Waters of Mars and maybe The Unicorn and the Wasp
The guy who played Sontaran General Staal is also the guy who played Mike "The Cool Dude" in The Young Ones and Dave Hedgehog in Bottom. He is awesome.

I'd love to see a proper Sontaran story in S8. Sontaran Stratagem/Poison Sky were among my favourite Tennant episodes, and now that we have a sontaran as a support character it would be interesting to see how he would react if his own people came back to attack Earth.

They just build HUGE sets and put everybody else on stilts. Can you tell I'm not being serious yet? A moral dilemma for Strax would be neat. But it better be a 2-parter.
To make up for this series, every story next year must be part of a 2-parter. I mean that seriously. It would be great.
Sarah-Jane Adventures style then?
Almost borders on classic series. Fun Fact: Colin Baker's first full season consisted of 2-Part-or-more 40 Minute stories.
Sarah-Jane Adventures style then?
More classic who which seems to have inspired SJA. Mostly I want a return to the RTD format to be honest. It was perfect. 13 episodes is too few to split as production seems to still be the same pace. [editline]21st May 2013[/editline]
Almost borders on classic series. The episodes felt padded.

I've always thought Christopher Lee would make a great Master-ish type of villian knowing his voice and his looks. If he ever was on the show I doubt that he'd do something physical since he is 90 years old and still going.

Don't you think she looks tired?

Looks like they found him outside a pub early in the morning and decided to take a picture.
Don't you think she looks tired?
I don't care she's an absolute beaut of a human.
Darvill is doing Once on broadway. Matt is doing that Ryan Gosling film in America. JLC may well have flow over to say Hi to Matt - I don't think she has work in the states. They are all in Darvill's dressing room, with him in full costume. Problem solved
She better hurry back. I've booked a photoshoot with her Saturday.
Oh god, what if she looks extremely overtired because of the jet lag.
Hopefully it will make me look better in comparison. Or at least somewhat. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We posting pictures up here afterwards to show off our amazing times? Who's actually going now? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 50th casting leak for those who like that sort of thing: [sp]husband of an actress in the 50th told somebody a returning companion from the classic series makes an appearance. I told you that. Somebody quite known (and not necessarily trusted, they backed up Whistleblower) has now said it's Carol Anne Ford as Susan[/sp] Meanwhile here is somebody from the RTD-Era who is not involved: http://www.denofgeek.com/tv/doctor-who/25722/bernard-cribbins-on-the-doctor-who-50th-anniversary-special It's sweet he called up and asked. Curious they told him "maybe later". -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally. It's worth noting when the BBC confirmed Series 8 they confirmed an August 2014 airdate. So it seems they're sticking with the series split idea.
