No. It would mean she was born a Gallifreyan. They're separate ;)
Another plot device introduced by Moffat to get out of anything: The Doctor lies.
"I can only regenerate 12 times"
The Doctor lies
"I am the Eleventh Doctor"
The Doctor lies
It can undo anything said by The Doctor rather neatly.
"The Doctor lies" is just the worst fucking thing
Still working on Rotoing Peter Cushing, I've had to use two shots to make up the gap as I don't have the time to make a 3D mesh of Peter and project his face onto it. Sorry guys.

Reddit's article on this is 50 shades of stupid. Someone's claiming that Doctor Who is insensitive because The Doctor didn't stop 20 million people dying in easily the most well known event in history for this generation
I'm not sure if I'm miffed at his over-reaction, or over the fact he doesn't remember The Fires of Pompeii :v:
So wait - let me get this straight. They're upset that a black person has never been cast as the Doctor, but the fact that a black person has never been cast as Hitler (a role that FAR more actors have portrayed) is totally okay with them?
Stay classy, Reddit

i'm pretty sure that there have been jewish actors that have played hitler
Now when a black person is cast as The Doctor, everybody will claim the BBC is only doing it to look politically correct.
Not because of the quality of actor or anything.
Seeing as we're on the topic of a black doctor, who would be a good candidate?
Too many to name. Colin Salmon is my choice of the week.

Oh and just found out he was rumoured to be The Eleventh Doctor.

It's gonna be Princess and the Frog all over again.

Eddie. Murphy.
Lennie James or Chiwetel Ejiofor
Here's something i've been wondering about after watching all of River Song episodes yet:
[sp] we never actually see the mid section of her relationship with the Doctor. We've seen her last 3-4 meetings with him and one post-death meeting. We've seen her conception and had a few run ins with "post-murder" River in season 6, which also covered her early relationship to the doctor.
Now. Here's the thing. She knows his name, yet he hasn't actually told her his name yet. The one time where it looks like he does, he actually revealed that he was inside a robot of himself. So. Either we spend a few seasons covering her middle-part of the relationship. Which i seriously hope, because as of now, as relatable as she is, it's weird for her to be so loving of him in her later incarnations. OR Moffat could just retire her and go "it happened off screen". She has a giant arc going from Lustful redeemed psychopath, to loving "old" wife. Years of love and companionship is implied and so far we've got what amounts to maybe 2-3 years spread over time.
So as i see it. They still have to cover that part AND the name... And just WHEN did the doctor fall so hard in love with her? As far as i understood, he only recently started taking a basic interest.[/sp]
Oh fuck it. I like her character and i hope they fill out the blank spots before the end. She's kinda become the Dumbledore of Doctor Who. She always knows what everything is. Could she be a full-season companion later? Oh christ. i have to stop rambling now. It's just bugging me endlessly. The Doctor claims to have aged 200+ years as the eleventh.
After river tells him she is amy and rory's baby, he instantly runs off in the tardis somewhere. where does he go?
Eddie. Murphy.
I hear he actually did audition for the role of the Eight Doctor during the TV Movie production.
I hear he actually did audition for the role of the Eight Doctor during the TV Movie production.
Found this on Wikipedia.
Had the show continued past 1989, the producers were again considering Richard Griffiths for the role of the Doctor.
Actors who auditioned for the role included Rowan Atkinson, Liam Cunningham (who appeared in the 2013 Doctor Who episode Cold War), Mark McGann (whose brother, Paul McGann eventually got the role), Robert Lindsay, Eric Idle, Tim McInnerny (who appeared in the 2008 Doctor Who episode "Planet of the Ood"), Nathaniel Parker, Peter Woodward, John Sessions (who later played Tannis in the audio drama Death Comes to Time), Anthony Head (who appeared in the 2006 Doctor Who episode "School Reunion" ), Rik Mayall and Tony Slattery. Billy Connolly has claimed he was also considered for the part.
I'd still like to see Richard Ayoade as the Doctor. I bet he'd be awful though.

That's if the series wasn't cancelled in 1989.
Eddie Murphy did audition for the TV movie in the 90's.
Who gave Clara that phone number? Old Clara.
Who sold Amy and Rory bad contraceptives? Clara.
[editline]27th May 2013[/editline]
i just realized something: clara has basically become the doctor's mom
"woops i forgot my lunchbox"
"hello doctor here's your lunch box"
also, so since every fragment clara has bits and pieces of the original's personality
clara is obviously more than a little curious about girls
also, so since every fragment clara has bits and pieces of the original's personality

"I was going through a phase".
But the idea is that it took what was already there and just made personalities
so the reason AotD oswin was an epic hacker is because she was given the computer package (also because she was a dalek idk)
victorian clara was the nanny skills
it only created things to fill in the gaps, and since she knew nina......
Eh. I don't really own an internal gaydar or care much for somebodies sexuality, fiction or not.
But if Clara turned out to have a gay quality I wouldn't necessarily be surprised. But I get the impression she has a slight attraction to The Doctor. One she hasn't fully realised yet, one she probably doesn't want to ever act on.
oh god so the timeline jump makes clara a deus ex machina personified
every time the doctor almost died/needed saving she was there
When do we meet the Lesbian "phase" frag- Did they just make a dalek gay? What does it matter she's hot for the Doc? All of the companions are, cept Donna.
I really fucking like River Song... She just waltzes in with her 50 years old meat and runs off with him without even giving the hot 20-yearold competition a second thought.
Maybe because the 20-year old competition was her mum.
Catching up on Classic Who. I intended to a while back but lazyness got the better of me.
Anyway, noticed this in the credits.

Tis isn't rightttttt
I'm trying to setup a livestream for some classic Doctor Who. It's taking forever for my username to go through. Once that's done, I'll put on Tomb of the Cybermen, and then a few more episodes.
