I think its his moment where he realises that not everything is going to leave him and there is the possibility of redemption in all things
hes happy because he died saving people
uh, ten died saving people too?
uh, ten died saving people too?
Doesn't matter, different character, different reaction
the idea of eccleston was the redemption from the time war which made him fine with it
Why is Nine the only one that goes out smiling?
How odd. Four's the only other one who's done that as well.
uh, ten died saving people too?
Yeah but 9 thought he would have to commit mass genocide to do it, but he didn't. He said no and would have rather died.
Pretty big turning point.
Plus he got his Rose back
What year was that ?
1980
Do you guys think that the people who get the actors for the Doctor listen to people from like Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, etc? I had a nightmare that they did, and they made the Doctor a baby.
How odd. Four's the only other one who's done that as well.
and those 2 are the best. Coincidence? I think not!
Why is Nine the only one that goes out smiling?
I don't know. He's northern so I half expected him to moan about it, but I suppose he's just used to being fucked about.
I guess when you're northern you learn to take things on the chin. Can you imagine Liam Gallagher regenerating and at any point crying? I can't.
"What do you fokin' mean I got to fokin' die you fokin' cunt. Come ove' 'ere and fokin' tell me what to do. I'll fuckin' 'ave you. Fokin' David Tennant are you 'avin a fokin laff? Me and our kid will fokin'-" [regenerates] "...New teeth. That's weird"
Ben Daniels has had to drop out of the role of The Doctor due to personal reasons
- Latest from the source that is never wrong. 12 is now uncast.
(This was first reported last week by another source)

Doctor Goo Goo.
Regarding the Ben Daniels thing. Trackboy and TDT back it up. He was 12 but has now dropped out in the last week.

Six months in the making and suddenly, nope?
Another potentially decent move by the BBC unsurprisingly hits the fan. Interest in the selection process lost - I'll wait for the announcement.

I have no idea what to think anymore. But these guys are pretty damn reliable.
Some fans speculate the Daniels dropping out thing is a clever leak from the BBC to throw people of the trail when he is still on board.

Hi there
Oh wait according to leaker "Doctor Who". 12 has been recast and nobody has guessed it yet.
[editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
He also says Doctor 12 will be announced in about 6 weeks.
[editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
Who was it that bet on Ben Daniels? Feel for you.
All sources who have been quiet for a while are coming out of the woodwork now to say it's personal issues. That's sad. I hope he's not ill or anything. Really could be any number of things to stop him moving to Cardiff for 9 months. I was excited for Ben Daniels and thought he'd bring something great to the role.
[editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
Trackboy also says next series has 12 episodes because they ran out of budget on the 50th so dropped an episode from Series 8 and put the budget into that.
Oh for fuck's sake I bet Moffat fired Daniels so he could step into the role himself last minute and people would call him THE MAN WHO SAVED DOCTOR WHO
Am I the only person who knows who has been cast as the next Doctor, and who has known this was coming for several weeks? I figured that if it filtered down to me, it must be common knowledge among people who matter.
…now I feel kind of special. Yay me.
- Wil Wheaton
Shut up Wesley!
Idris Idris Idris!
know who would make a great 12th doctor but it would probably never happen? David Bowie.
Robert Carlyle?!?!?
The best Twelfth Doctor would be Rupert Grint. He could finally be ginger. And we could finally combine the Harry Potter fandom into the Doctor Who fandom.
All amazing suggestions.
But remember. 10/11 of the actors cast as The Doctor in the past have been somebody on the cusp of fame (therefore cheap, and without any public expectations or familiarities).

Back on the list, apparently.
And nobody say anything about that because I haven't watched any GOT yet and start Friday and have already had part of it spoiled so shhhhhh
[editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
One person says 12 will be announced in 6 weeks.
Somebody else says tomorrow.
I can imagine the BBC is feeling like they have to officially announce whoever they cast quickly to stop them dropping out again :v:
[editline]6th June 2013[/editline]
Also I can't see them casting somebody who played such a well remembered villain within in the show.

They wouldn't rule someone out over a two-episode stint six years ago IMO - if they were to be their best choice. In this case, he might not be. Ben Daniels seemingly was. So who knows, he might be now..
guys
i'm the 12th doctor
Steven Moffat is the 12th Doctor!!!!
