Sorry to bring it back but: "The TARDIS loses power and strands the Doctor and Clara on Apollo 11, but the Sonic Screwdriver picks up a signal from an unexpected lifeform. The visitors unravel the mystery at the heart of the Kings of Never. The Daily Mail complains bitterly that this episode exposes the show’s “gay agenda”. Lindsay Lohan has a cameo part."
A malfunction sends the TARDIS hurtling towards an abandoned spaceship, and they are soon caught up in adventure. Isolated from Clara, the Doctor goes on to have tough choices to make about the Whispermen. Shouting “Geronimo!” saves the day. One of the cast of Downton Abbey makes a cameo.
im ok with this
Please don't let Domhnall Glesson be cast All of the past Doctors have been sort-of minor actors, never anything big until Doctor Who. That and casting a ginger actor who's been in Harry Potter in a big-ish role just seems like a bit of a gimmick-y feel
out of all the bullshit suggestions I've heard so far, Domhnall Glesson is the one i'm actually most okay with [editline]11th June 2013[/editline] he has the look of someone who might be able to so does ben daniels but the others I have absolutely no confidence in
I'm going to admit it, but I actually miss RTD being in charge of the show after rewatching the first series. I just think when he writes emotionally with the characters, you bond with them better and I haven't really had that with the recent series. Sure I liked Amy and Rory, but it wasn't used to it's potential. Although, I do think they did the best they could with them. My opinion though, I guess as the Doctor changes, the show should change too really..
The Doctor is summoned to Zaakros, but an old enemy awaits. The visitors have tough choices to make about the Autons. A well-known character actor plays the role of an old man sacrificing himself to save the day. Patrick Stewart is revealed as a new incarnation of Rasillon.
Im ok with this
Patrick Stewart is revealed as a new incarnation of Rasillon

The TARDIS intercepts a distress signal from a street in 1930’s New Orleans, but something is lurking in the shadows. Doctor Who and his companion learn more about humanity in a conflict with Sulphur Demons. A previously unseen setting of the Sonic Screwdriver saves the day. One of the League Of Gentlemen is the villain.
That actually sounds plausible and... A good episode?
The Doctor’s tears save the day. Patrick Stewart appears as the narrator.
A malfunction sends the TARDIS hurtling towards Mondas, but something lurks menacingly. Isolated from the Doctor, Clara goes on to uncover the secret of the first Rasillon’s son. A malfunction in the cooling system saves the day. Hugh Grant shines in a supporting role. Sounds Like a typical plot these days
Patrick Stewart would make a great Rassilon.
The TARDIS crash lands on Planet UX-4732, but the Sonic Screwdriver picks up a gravity anomaly. Isolated from Clara, the Doctor goes on to uncover the secret of the last Cybermen.
Wait, is this thing making "Nightmare in Silver"?
A previously unseen function of Clara’s mobile phone saves the day. Paula Abdul shines in a supporting role.
Oh, so close.
A failsafe on the TARDIS console blows, sending her crashing towards a gateway to a parallel dimension, but time is running more slowly than usual. Isolated from the Doctor, Clara goes on to uncover the secret of the last inhabitants of the planet XX-333. Clara’s love for the Doctor saves the day. Justin Timberlake has a walk-on part. wat [editline]11th June 2013[/editline] The TARDIS lands on Pluto, but a small child soon distracts the TARDIS crew. The Doctor and Clara discover the first Time Lords. A small green furry alien called “Bob” saves the day. Justin Timberlake kisses Clara. oh god
The TARDIS crash lands on a space station in the far-future, and the Doctor is worried. Clara and the Doctor uncover the secret of the last Omega’s hand-maiden. A nostalgic 90’s pop culture reference saves the day. Matt Lucas is revealed as a new incarnation of the Master.
They sing the Bel Air song
I also prefer the 10th Doctor's title sequence and theme compared to the new one. I just think they're trying to go a bit retro or mould it too much on the classic series, especially with the theme. 9th/10th Doctor's theme and title sequence just seemed modern and a step forward for me, I loved the pace of it too. Matt's title sequences have been a bit too slow personally.
They sing the Bel Air song
Wouldnt be the first time a pop culture reference saved the day. expelliarmus
Made this in SFM c:
Das pretty awesome Makes me want to animate a regeneration scene. I'd need a good particle effect first, though...

I've really come round to the screwdriver now, Nine and Ten's looks weird to me.

It was really good, too. [editline]12th June 2013[/editline] If someone finds it, please post it for us.

I would've loved one more series of 9. No. 3 more.
I was looking through some junk from under my bed, and I found this that I drew around the time Parting of the Ways first aired: I must say I am somewhat terrified.
Oh wow
Speaking of SFM, found this just now, rather old, but nonetheless;

Account since long gone.
That Regeneration box set has dropped in price by nearly £10 since Matt announced he was leaving :v: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BWU1ESO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
That would be me, on a different account. :v: Shitty thing made in the original "alpha" of SFM. Account since long gone.
You wouldn't happen to have a copy of the video saved on your computer, would you? Or, now that SFM is available for everyone and fully supported by Valve, perhaps you could make a brand new one.
That Regeneration box set has dropped in price by nearly £10 since Matt announced he was leaving :v: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BWU1ESO/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Considering he told the BBC back in November, you would've thought they'd have anticipated this. "Hey want to buy the complete set of regenerations in a box set? All but one story have been available before and you probably already own. It's will be out of date directly after release. Please buy it" Why not a monster collection as originally planned? One story from each Doctor facing a classic foe. You may already own the stories but it won't be out of date. Plus it's more interesting to Nu-Fans who haven't seen the classic series. Hartnell - The Dalek Invasion of Earth (For Daleks) Troughton - The Ice Warriors (For Ice Warriors) Pertwee - The Silurians (For Silurians) Baker -Terror of the Zygons (For Zygons) Davison - Earthshock (For Cybermen) CBaker - The Two Doctors (For Multi-Doctor, and Sontarans) McCoy - Battlefield (For last Brigadier story) McGann - TV movie (For Master) Eccleston - Rose (for Autons) Tennant - Utopia/Sound Of Drums/Last of the Timelord (Because shit epic, plus Master) Smith - The Doctors Wife (For TARDIS and Ood) That's a set with far superior episodes. Let's face it, this set is being sold to those who never saw much classic Who. This would be an excellent collection of stories to get the gist of each Doctor/era. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those who wanted Addison. So does Addison. I'll never forget the episode of Have I got News where Tom Baker kept calling Addison 'boy' and eventually Addison snapped and shouted "I'm a grown man, Tom Baker" sending everybody into a frenzy of laughter as Tom shamefully retreated into himself. Good times. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Something from a Mr.Reliable
Cant name source im afraid but i have been informed that the reason for the delay in transmission of next series is that ' those above Moffat ' were seriously not impressed with the quality of the writing of some of the aired episodes this year --- & have told Moff to ' get it right ' this time in regards to the scripts being written. I hear he was not impressed with being told this. Very , very annoyed to be precise
Glad they told him. I enjoyed it but it was a marked drop in quality and the general public noticed. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Private Eye (well know publication) have published this:
So, farewell then Matt Smith, who will be stepping down as Doctor Who to make way for ... well, who knows. The manner of the 11th Doctor's leaving was entirely characteristic of the way the show is currently being managed by the BBC. The news leaked courtesy of a fuck-up in which an internal BBC Worldwide email giving details of the scheduling for the next series - and mentioning in passing that "Editorially this will give the new doctor a chance to really develop with the audience (apologies for this spoiler if you didn't know but please treat this as confidential)" - was accidentally sent out to hundreds of staff at the corporation's commercial arm and a number of external licensees. It then spread to fans and the internet, and the corporation was forced to cobble together a press release which it embargoed until midnight the following day, a Saturday - only for so many people to blab its contents on Twitter that it had to break its own deadline and run a report on that evening's news. This particular Snafu came just three weeks after the top-secret finale of the last series of the programme also leaked, despite assurances that "extra special measures" were being taken to keep it secret until transmission. Senior BBC figures were even denied copied with the white lie that post-production would continue right up to the last minute - only for fully-formatted copies to be home-delivered to fans in the US whose pre-orders for series box sets were accidentally shipped more than a week early. This exposed the cliffhanger reveal that John Hurt will be playing a hitherto unknown version of the Doctor in this November's anniversary special - although by then that news was already out, Hurt having blown the gaff a week earlier to his local paper, the Eastern Daily Press, while publicising, er, the revamp of Sheringham Little Theatre's Film Club. The new of Smith's departure overshadowed another bit of news in the leaked email, which is that the next full series of Doctor Who will not be broadcast until August-October 2014, partly to give "Steven [Moffat, show-runner and executive producer] and the team more time to work on the scripts to ensure that it's as good as ever and really secure the future of the title for many years to come". This will mean that between January 2012 and June 2014, when under Doctor Who's previously-accustomed schedule 41 episodes would have been broadcast, the BBC will actually put out a grand total of 16.
16. Ouch. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some trusted leakers saying the plan was for another series split next year. But the Commonwealth games and Football are too dangerous to navigate so we get a full run of 12 instead.
Chris Addison would be a horrible choice in my opinion. If you're going for someone who's primarily a stand up rather than an actor, how about Bill Bailey? My son's partner works for BBC Worldwide and I'm a Private Eye subscriber so Dan's post isn't news to me - but have to admit I hadn't taken in that "only 16 episodes" bit until now. The latest scripts have been a bit less than awesome though, hopefully the extra time will mean some better ones when we finally do get the new season.
People on Gallifrey Base still argue there has been no less episodes than other years. They're blindly defending the show now. To me it says when you drop from 13 an episodes a year to about 6, there's a problem behind the scenes. Same applies when leaks keep flying out, your leading man doesn't announce he's leaving himself and leaves the country, and the Executive producer "steps down" after a huge argument with the show-runner.
Man, I hope doctor who survives its stint with moffat at the reins I really dont want to say he's running it into the ground but he really is
