This thread is now about posting about your position on the list.

Was released in the 70s while Pertwee was The Doctor.
What. I.

Even shitter. My lord. This is how they tried to save the show in the 80's. You got some of the cast in there (Peri can't sing at all), Bucks Fizz, Ultravox, and the whole thing is produced by Hans Zimmer.
It was so bad the BBC refused to play it on the radio. What a disaster. This whole thing came from the mind of Super-Fan Ian Levine. Ian is the one who leaked the Matt Smith email, in the past he was the one who stopped the BBC destroying all the old episodes and saved a bunch. He is also responsible for returning most the old episodes to the archives.
He was also backing the rumours of returned missing episode up until this morning where it was revealed to all be a huge nasty hoax.
So no missing episodes. Sorry.

Matt's Tardis door, Matt's hair, Tennant's Doctor. What is happening.
That's why you must always be Brooker, Grizz must always be Coleman, Evlbzltyr must be White Stripes, and Dain always be Rainbow Brooker, Acezorz must be camp Facepunch (though years ago he was Harry Lloyd).
Hey, I actually found that pretty catchy.
Doctor in Distress can just sit there for all I care, though.
Shame about the missing episodes being a hoax.
The dude incharge of finding classic episodes and stuff:
All,
I outlined on Gallifrey Base some time ago how I think this mutated from a list of titles I created for the DW production office of what could potentially be still out there(around the time Air Lock and Underwater Menace were returned) to a mixed bag of 44 episodes or thereabouts, to the bizarre figure of 90, which is a new one on me.
That initial 'chinese whispers' rumour just got repeated and embellished and when you want to believe and every Tom, Dick and Harry has a theory, then this is what you get.
People have been wondering why I didn't step in sooner and "nip it in the bud". Well, I have better things to do with my time than repeat myself on a DW forum. People wouldn't believe me anyway.
People know that I believe it when I see it. Here's a new one; if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
Paul
This is how I see it: they will never find those missing episodes. Hartnells last story, Troughtons first, and Brigadiers first arrival are all lost forever. On the one hand we should be mad at Ian Levine for spreading these rumours all over the press, on the other hand he did stop the BBC junking the classic episodes moments before they got rid of the first ever Dalek appearance.
It's a sad fact, but they're gone forever.
It's also sad no classic Doctors appear in the 50th.
While it's nice to have these docu-dramas, and conventions, and tie-in material for the 50th. I'd rather of had Doctor Who. 13 episodes and a special. The beloved multi-doctor story we've been dreaming of for years. What started off as the most exciting year for Who fans is hurtling towards the emptiest, we even lose a Doctor.

Don't listen to him. We'll open our own thread, with blackjack and hookers.
at the recent Evening With Derren Nesbitt at The Cinema Museum, host Jonathan Rigby introduced Derren by running through some of his credits and said when he got to Marco Polo that he'd been told that day that 'we would be seeing it again before the end of the year', but didn't say how he came by that information.
Rigby is a friend of Gatiss.
Marco Polo is one of the three stories that started in this rumour. The one that said there would be a box set by Christmas and Skinner found them herself.
I don't know what to believe. I guess the rumours of Marco Polo, Web of Fear, Enemy of the World being found are true. Maybe the BBC will broadcast them as a surprise come November?
He's such a cool guy I wish we were friends.
I'd love to be more like that. More recklessly myself and being good at it.
Apparently the reason we will see Marco Polo again before the year's out is because it appears on a tv during An Adventure in Time and Space.
No idea if it's an original clip or a remake using Gatiss' cast. Some speculation now that these "3 returned episodes" are infact remakes using Gatiss' cast. Which would be cool.
