Watched the first 5 Episodes of Doctor Who(Reboot, so Season 1) to see how the show is. Well, let me tell you, that was corny, funny, dramatic, thrilling and overall enjoyable. Also this was the second episode.

I wish I could watch it again without remembering.
Anniversary of The War Games yesterday.
I always thought "The Unicorn and the Wasp" was one of those episodes that you'd be glad to just get through, but it's actually funny. The bit where the Doctor interrogates the suspects and the old guy is remembering being sat in his study, then remembers about the girls dancing. The Doctor tells him to snap out of it, so he carries on memorising the bit in the study, then the Doctor tells him "no, no, snap right out of it" :v: Then the bit with the lady where she starts describing when she first speaks to the Doctor and Donna, then the Doctor goes "yes, yes, you can stop now, I was there for that bit"
RTD did comedy much better for the most part [editline]22nd June 2013[/editline]
I hate to be the one accused of leaking news before it's public, but what is Nikki Wilson's involvement now with Doctor Who ??? Hmm ???
-Source Rumours flying she's a new part of the production team. BBC forced a script editor on Moffat?
Was watching Silence in the Library and when people associate the word "silence" to the actual Silence that appears later in the series, kind of relates when that Doctor Moon character says "and then you forgot". Kind of a similar ability the way it has the effect on people. Seeing as that episode was River's last, what if it was the actual Silence's last? What if they were caught and instead of using their ability for bad, it was ended up being used for good? I.e to keep memories going in that CAL machine? I don't know, just making assumptions anyway, I like linking random stuff :v: Shit, what if the Silence can now appear as human D:
that would be an even more terrible twist for a lackluster villain

That guy behind him is getting tired of his shit
Rumours flying she's a new part of the production team. BBC forced a script editor on Moffat?
Seriously, Moffat didn't have a script editor this whole time? Jesus Christ, how far up your own arse do you have to be to feel like your work doesn't need to be put in front of an editor before being filmed? It's probably not true - I honestly don't believe that level of arrogance is possible.

Denise Paul took over (with a different title) for 7a. Then it was dropped for 7b again. If the above is true, Moffat has now been given 2 script editors for S8. God help them - especially Brian.

Impossible astronaut was fantastic though, the two parter.
To be fair, it's just a name and could be anything. It's not Moffats replacement though, they clarified that much.
moffat is an ~auteur~
That's a really funky way of spelling "amateur".
Yes, its pretty cool. Everyone says the Doctors after the current one are better. I cant imagine, because this good is pretty cool.
I wouldn't exactly say better, but very different. I suppose each is better in their own way.
Say what you want about Rings of Akhaten, but this speech with that music is so powerful. It actually has to be one of my favourite moments. Matt knows how to give a damn good speech, and the thought that something like this might happen before his regeneration is utterly heart-breaking.

I suppose that means they're going to count a bunch of people who played the Doctor in various semi-official/unofficial works. Shakla, Cushing films, Big Finish Unbounds... I hope I can peek at that one. But it seems Barnes & Noble (the only place I see stocking these in the states) only likes to order every other issue, and takes their darn time getting a new batch.

Neil Gaiman was on Radio 4 discussing all of his writing this afternoon, the show was on from 4pm to 4.30. It's called Open Book and is presented by Mariella Frostrup if anyone wants to look for it on iPlayer. Open Book is also due to be repeated on Thursday 27th 3.30 to 4pm.
Regeneration box set shipped and I got it for £10 less than I should have because of Amazon's pre-order price guarantee thing. I'll post pictures when it gets here. Looking forward to watching my SUPER SECRET BOX SET ONLY recovered episode 4 of Tenth Planet :v:

I think Spam McGann has found his companion.
I really hope some heavy shit happens to the 11th doc so that his regeneration can't happen unless Human Tennant doctor sacrifices himself and spacemagic and suddenly 10 is back baby. It'd almost be Fanfiction level.
