so facepunchers will go HEH HE'S WITTY and shower me with gifts
I'm actually in this for the discussion, not ratings or whatever. I was having problem about a delicate matter and you sir, actually helped me with it, in a way.
OP I am friends with a lesbian couple. I knew one of the girls before she turned. The only difference I've noticed is that together they seem more playful. Sorry about your luck there, your friend is weird.
-She believes that people who go on gay pride parades are courageous. I Believe if drinking, dancing and using poor excuses for clothes is a sign for courage, then we live in a dumb society. -She believes in feminist philosophy, I believe all extrimists philosophies and/or political views add nothing to the world has it is now.
Sorry, but you sound like an arrogant asshole who's desperate to get in an argument for the sake of being right and feeling good about yourself.
no that's me you got it all wrong
Sorry, but you sound like an arrogant asshole who's desperate to get in an argument for the sake of being right and feeling good about yourself.
Maybe, you could be right... And im not being sarcastic.
I think the gay pride parades in San Francisco and a few other extreme cities are fucking retarded. I mean, what are you saying about your homosexuality by walking around completely nude and holding giant orgies in tents (true story)? A parade is great, but does it really help your image to be overly sexual to the point where it offends some people?
Sometimes with friends you just have to let things go. But it is complete shit about neo-nazis. And very foolish of her friend to join the group.
to the point where it offends some people?
that's the point every single parade is about provocation
Sometimes with friends you just have to let things go.
That is what I'm afraid of... Also I'm sniping up the OP. I don't want this to turn into a shit storm because of my stupid opinion. Just let it die quietly... Will a Mod please lock it?
Oh boy. That kid who joined the neo-nazis is probably dead already

They're breaking down comfort barriers and trying to redefine what's beautiful and tasteful. It's an attempt to advertise diversity, not just what people perceive as the "gay cause" - which is something like marriage rights and what not for gays. They're fairly ineffective because people watching or hearing about the parades on the news don't quite get it. I find it sad that a lot of people live in the suburbs or other low density areas, suburbs and what not are rather exclusive places. It took me until I was about 16 years old to realize that I was being raised in a community that was unknowingly racist, and it's hard to grow out of that. Most people don't even notice the prejudices they have, which makes the whole thing a repeating cycle. I have a lot to say on the matter of diversity, racism, prejudice, etc., maybe I'll write a thread sometime...

I mean, it probably was fun for the people involved in the orgy, but otherwise I don't think they had much of a message.
