I guess they're a bad dev team because 2K made them develop a Bioshock sequel which scored in the high 80s on metacritic! Sure it was an unnecessary sequel but boo hoo it doesn't mean the game was bad. Or is there some other reason that internet nerds don't like them?

I think Bioshock 2 was a good enough sequel to the first game.
The ending was a good tear jerker if you asked me.
Also 2k isn't a bad company at all, they've made decent games as well as not so good games, same as any company makes games that hit or miss as well.
