You can try to ride on most terrains with a road bike. Not as dirty as a mtb, but pretty dirty for a road bike :P
I miss those old roadsters.

Anyway, you all don't clean dirt from your bikes?I clean from my xc mtb bike dirt everyday. Also, post your bikes.Mine http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/135/nuotrauka0207.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/829/nuotrauka0206.jpg/ http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/19/nuotrauka0205.jpg/
Here's my road bike in its current state. I'll get pictures of my other bikes later.
Is it just me or your bike is really from carbon?
Most cyclists I've met are douchebags in tight shorts.
Most cyclists I've met are douchebags in tight shorts.
Nah.I'm training at professional trainer in one of best clubs in my country, and all my buddies in there are really nice people actually.Douchebags are those who Hurr durr i go into race i'm cool hurr durr. Normal cyclist arren't like that. P.s.Bmx'ers and dirt jumpers most of the time are douchebags, thats true.I have few friends who bmx'ing and they are very much like douchebags. But still, friends.
Most cyclists I've met are douchebags in tight shorts.
Okay buddy. [editline]15th August 2011[/editline]
Is it just me or your bike is really from carbon?
Yep, frame is carbon.
Okay buddy. [editline]15th August 2011[/editline] Yep, frame is carbon.
What was your bike price if it's not secret?
It's a couple years old now, but back in the day it was close to about $5,000 aud
It's a couple years old now, but back in the day it was close to about $5,000 aud
Wow.You are really rich.Now I'm jealous.
Not at all actually. Bought it during the recession so the australia $ was incredibly low.
I used to right about 15 miles everyday but I got bored with it because there really isn't that much good road to ride on where I live. I can get from my house to downtown in 20 minutes on a bike and that's about as far as the nice roads go.
RANS Crankforward bikes look like the fucking shit, imo But I've never really had a reason to get a bike, living in a suburb makes a bike's utility immensely less.
I'm a fatty, I can only go 7 miles.
I'm a fatty, I can only go 7 miles.
Lol.For going from my home to the training base there is 15 km.And ride it in 30 minutes.Tip: Ride more. Also, what's your kmi/bmi? But if you have road bike, then sorry for you.
I don't like it's frame and seat, but the other components are good.
The reason why I picked this was because it's a semi-recumbent type bike, seems like it's better for ride/power since more of your weight is on the drive wheel.
The reason why I picked this was because it's a semi-recumbent type bike, seems like it's better for ride/power since more of your weight is on the drive wheel.
Yup,but still i would change frame color.
Yup,but still i would change frame color.
I would too :v:
I enjoy cycling, but my knees don't.
I enjoy cycling, but my knees don't.
Then replace your knees.Or drink milk.
Then replace your knees.Or drink milk.
It's nearly certain that I'll need a knee replacement at some point in the next few years. I fucked them up years back and they've been getting steadily worse as time goes by. I can still cycle a mile or two, but my right knee will usually lose the ability to bend.
be a badass and tape your left foot to the pedal and use only your left leg.
be a badass and tape your left foot to the pedal and use only your left leg.
I'm just imagining the muscles on my left thigh building up, while my right wastes away. I wouldn't be able to walk straight.
amputate and get prosthetic so it doesn't look as wonky
amputate and get prosthetic so it doesn't look as wonky
Now you're talking! Anyway the best treatment is to keep exercising, but cycling is out. My doctor said that pain is an indication that it isn't helping. I love that feeling of the wind in my face without the noise of an engine. I'll keep going as long as I can. DAMN YOU ARTHRITIS!

I used to love riding my Trek mountain bike around, but after a week of riding around in sugar sand and going down an extremely bump hill at 20mph while shifting, I pretty much broke the gears, and it won't shift past third. :smith:
