• There, There - My Cinematography Final

Hey guys, I've been studying Film for my second year at Champlain College in Burlington, and I finally finished the semester, which included Cinematography and Lighting. I posted about a year ago trying to show off my clips that I shot from my freshman year, but instead of associating with those horrendous works of art, I figured I'd make a new thread. The final for the Cinematography class was to make a music video, so I chose "There, There" by The Wonder Years. The video is essentially about a lonely crazy guy who's in love with a girl he can't have. When he sees her happy with another man, he snaps, and plots their downfall. Please, even if you don't like the music, let me know what you think. My team and I worked really hard on this one and I like to think it shows. Music aside, this was actually pretty interesting. I specifically liked the scene in which the shots were quickly cutting between the close-up of the hooded man and the two at the two at the table, in beat with the music. It fitted quite nicely. I can't really find any outstanding flaws that aren't nitpicky things like 'I don't like the music' or anything along that line, but before I ramble on too long, very well done.
