That would depend on your results and our results. If we have higher, yeh.
Well I go to Uni anyway, yeh.
I did really bad in mine 2 years ago; 2 B's, 6 C's and 2 E's. got me into college which is what i wanted then into Uni starting September so it's not too bad.
i'm going to reading festival like a few hours after i get the results so i could not really give a shit at the moment
Have fun at the Festival with the knowledge that you've failed life.

i will thanks.
I got my GCSE results yesterday. Got 1A, 4Bs, 2Cs and 2Ds. Still have to get 1 more GCSE tomorrow because it's a different exam board.
i will thanks.
your gonna be poor.
im quite scared D: i need 5 C's to get into college. I think i have got it but we will have to wait and see!
Good heavens, memories. This was 4 years ago for me. How times have changed. I got 11 GCSEs, but 9 of them were A-C.
Getting my first GCSE results tomorrow, I think it did absolutely crap. But hey, at least I can retake it.
I'm more interested rather than terrified at the moment, since I got an A in my Maths AS already (fucking woo)
Hopefully they'll be alright.
Im shitting myself! :|
Last year I got
A,A,B,B,B,B,B,C,C (Waiting on the resit result which I get tomorrow for the Year 10 science I retook when I was in year 13, lol advantage. :v:)
you sit and feel smug while we take the last of your gas, ok? :smug:
I have done my best, so we shall see i got two As last year as we did a sceince gcse and R.E in year 10 so hopefully the rest will follow them, doudt it tho.
Shitting bricks, my sixth form is uber-selective (need at least B to get in) and I have a borderline predicted B/C in a subject I'm doing
Needed 5 B's to get in the one I'm in.
[editline]04:27PM[/editline]
Good luck, though.
Ahh i'm really worried about my results, I did all foundation as i'm not the smartest of guys.
So highest i can get is a C, I really bloody hope i get C's.
You will.
GCSE results mean fuck all these days, especially if your goin college.
You need the good grades to get to college in the first place (assuming you go to a competitive college)
The college I've been offered a conditional place at was the first in the country to get "outstanding" from Ofsted and got 1300 applications this year, they only have 900 places.
Urkk...

the sixth form at my old school required an average of A or better across the board. pretty hardcore.
Can't believe it's been a year already since I got my final results.
2 B's, 10 C's, 2 D's.
Mmm...average.

Mine also got oustanding from Ofsted.
Quotes from the inspection report November 2006:
“This is an outstanding school.”
“The standard of education in the sixth form is outstanding.”
“Standards throughout the school are very high and achievements are outstanding.”
“Personal development and well-being are outstanding.”
“The school correctly judged the quality of its care, guidance and support to be outstanding.”
“The headteacher and senior leadership team know their school particularly well and provide outstanding leadership.”
“The school provides outstanding value for money.”
Canon Philip Dearden, Chairman of Governors, said:
There has never been a better moment to be proud of Clitheroe Royal Grammar School. If I was a parent I would be delighted to know that I had chosen such an “outstanding” school for my son’s or my daughter’s education. In a letter sent to all the students, the inspectors reported “Our view is that the school is outstanding”.

Good luck for you all. I START my GCSE's this next school year (year 10), and I don't know what to expect. If you did really well in your Year 9 tests, will the GCSE's be easy?
They're kinda different, but not much harder when you're in the year itself.
Mine also got oustanding from Ofsted.
Lucky bugger. Not fair really, you only get in a grammar school if you live near one (and are clever, forgot to add). My school got the 2nd best rating (is it good/great?) in every aspect but Outstanding in attainment and it's only been open for 3 years.
The December 2006 Ofsted Inspection confirmed the reputation of the college as one of the very best in the country with an ‘outstanding’ report. Cirencester College is one of only a very few colleges in the country to achieve grade 1 (outstanding) across the board in every area of inspection
apparently alot of colleges get outstanding

The only real difference is that much of the work is actually worth something.
I'm way away from it. It's about a 30 minute drive.
It's 'good', by the way.
