You need the good grades to get to college in the first place (assuming you go to a competitive college)
The college I've been offered a conditional place at was the first in the country to get "outstanding" from Ofsted and got 1300 applications this year, they only have 900 places.
Urkk...
Congrats, I got shit all in my GCSE's but got into a great college that too got outstanding from Ofsted, now I am in my last year of Public Services and going to Uni next year so if you want to fret over shitty GCSE's go ahead but seriously even if you get bad ones it doesn't mean the end.

GCSE's are bullshit unless you're applying to Eaton and then deciding to apply to study microscopic creatures at Oxford.
What results day?
Stuck up much?
no I'm just saying it's not as prestigious as everyone is hyping over.
I feel old.
Got mine three years ago, nothing below a B :)
meh, not too bothered really. maybe that's because GCSE's are next year for me :smug:
w/e, getting a* in everything except french (b :D) and geography, A, already. kinda fucking annoying that everyone has suddenly decided that from next year onwards everyone's gonna have to work p. hard to do well.
I'm nervous.
I hope i've done okay.
I go in at 0930 to get mine.

I put in a tonne of hours for art so my teach already revealed I got A* in that. Other than that I just want a good grade in English to show that bitch. :smug:
Scottish results came out like 2 weeks ago. Thus we are better than you.
Indeed.
[editline]08:43PM[/editline]
Not that I actually care fffff.
I'm not worried about getting the results I need to get into college, I'll be happy with whatever I get as long as it isn't too bad.
My parents on the other hand.. My mum will be happy for me whatever I get, my dad will be asking why I didn't get A's on everything in his usual annoying niggling way :bang:
A-level year 12
C ICT
E Maths
E DT
U physics
Lol I got
U Chemistry
U Psychology
U biology
E Physics
E General Studies.
I didn't revise, shit was happening and I've learnt my lesson. Doing Maths, Physics, English and Computing now at the same place.
Doe's anyone else find this shit dehumanizing? It feels like a game to me :frown:
