Holy crap I'm planning pretty much the same thing. I was going to make a homemade card and maybe draw a rose for her or something cause I don't have the money/balls to buy her a real one.

My school's got this thing where you pay some money and you get this small card to write your message and the recipient on. You then give it to them and tomorrow (because valentine's day is in a weekend) they go around the classrooms handing them out to people.

I made an anonymous one (because I don't know whether she likes me or has a boyfriend) but the thing is, my handwriting is so godawful and even though I practiced on it, she's probably still gonna recognise it.
