Grow up, stop watching cartoons.
How dare people watch shows that they liked as a child!
they still play the old shows during the day.
It's almost always this shitty show called "Johnny Test" and the show's main humor is fart jokes.
How dare people watch shows that they liked as a child!
To nostalgia i suppose
They aren't that great, you've just looking at it through rose-tinted spectacles because it's what you watched as a kid, and as you get older life gets progressively shittier. To anyone who didn't watch anything like this as a child because they stuck to terrestrial television, it's not all that good.
That's what boomerang is for, use it.
Hey guys, Anyone want to watch Golf?

That show was tight.

Actually, they've got a Courage the Cowardly Dog marathon on right now in EST time. It's quite awesome.
I miss Samurai Jack.

Holy fuck yes... Nostalgia... God damn that show kicked so much ass.
I miss Samurai Jack.

When ever that show came on I always got the cock fighting episode.
Actually, they've got a Courage the Cowardly Dog marathon on right now in EST time. It's quite awesome.
I should go watch it, because I'll probably be frustrated by the crap that's on later, but, I'd rather be on my computer right now.
As for those raging that generations before us say the same crap about what we watch today, I would loosely call this generations "cartoons" cartoons, I liked stuff like Ed Edd n' Eddy, Dexter's Lab, Johnny Bravo, all those kind of show for the animated mischief, which generally made them funny, that's also why I don't mind new shows like Flapjack and Chowder.
guise im 20 and i watch cartoons hurf
I mean come on almost anyone will agree that all this new stuff on CN is bullshit. All that old stuff was amazing: Two Stupid Dogs, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Courage, Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, the original Toonami and all that jazz. That was the good stuff, with an actual core of creativity. You could watch that stuff all day and be entertained, not like this crap now. I could never understand how anyone, even children who will grow up with this, will probably won't share the same love people felt for the old stuff. I wish I could remember more stuff that I left out but I'll leave that for you guys to do. For now I post nostalgia.
I figure this is enough to get us started. Toonami one was amazing, and it sorta hurts knowing none of this stuff is ever coming back.
Nothing happened you just grew up
They still air the old shows here.
Things change
And this time....
For the worse...
Uh, I stopped watching cartoons when I was 11.
The humor just isn't smart enough for a teenager / adult.
Why do you guys still watch them? They're all fucking stupid to me.
guise im 20 and i watch cartoons hurf
Hate to tell you, but The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, King of the Hill, American Dad, all those shows, are still considered cartoons, just with more sex violence and swearing, cartoons can still be funny without that stuff...

What'd you sell your soul or something? Stopped being funny? Good cartoons provide the same entertainment value to me now as when I was 8.
First, off toonami is not cartoon network second, boomerang was before toonami, and toonami sucks balls. (and i think is still around.)

Hahaha El Goonish Shive avatar.
Wait no I'm not supposed to recognise that.
FUUUUCK
They don't even show cartoons anymore. Now it's just this "CN Real" crap with ripoff shows of Ghost Hunters and others but with REALLY stupid kids.
That was the good stuff
I thought all of that stuff was stupid.
I miss ren&stimpy, rocko's modern life, 2 angry beavers, animaniacs, and the list goes on... After all that stuff, things just got targeted to a generation so young they had no business sitting in front of a TV.
I started watching "Dickelodeon" after CN turned to shit, Luckily my parents didn't have a Disney subscription other wise I may have turned out to be a fag
Boomerang.

You have to order a bonus pack for DirectTV for boomerang I believe as well as Dish. Not sure of the others since I've only used the two satellite companies.

That's not the point of this thread.
