"Won't back down" is beautiful in dectalk.
-Oh fuck I bumped a months ago thread-
I like to have DECtalk read Creepypastas to me.
Shit, I'm reminded of the shitty job I did with Bo Rhap. I kind of want to remake that with full multivoice sections and shiz.
holla holla get dolla

First result on google http://www.theflameofhope.co/dectalk/440/dectalk440.zip
EDIT: Apparently this forum likes to ad spaces between brackets. All my scripts moved to Pastebin: http://pastebin.com/TUqLZvxg
Current list:
- geeettttttt dunked on! (2-liner)
- geeettttttt dunked on! chat version (1-liner, sucks)
- Megalovania (1-liner, can play along with song, "aa")
- John Cena theme (1-liner, "dah")
- Sega chant (1-liner)
- Sega chant NASA version (1-liner)
- The Game Theorists theme (16-liner, 6 unique lines, can play along with song, "daa")
So, uh... I was looking around for new commands and such to make fancier songs, and I thought it would be fun to email the company that made it (SpeechFX) one of the videos I spent a really long time on, I thought they would like it.
Then, the CEO emails me, saying he doesn't recognize me, telling me to send him a copy of my licence to use DECTalk. Ehhh.....
Clearly he lost his license and wants to use yours cause you showed him how cool the program is
After replying, saying I didn't actually use the program, but I exclusively used Moonbase Alpha (which is true), I got a reply saying
Ask moonbase alpha to contact me. Further , you are to cease and distribution, demos or other public notice of and use of DECTalk until you obtain a software license from SpeechFX.
Whoops.

Please burn any equipment utilizing DECTalk immediately.

How to get in trouble with the software vendor 101.
Legit of all the things you could of done, you blab to the vendor about what you are doing with software not licensed to you.

Then they have to remove all the Moonbase Alpha videos.

Bad reading. I missed the Moonbase Alpha part.
In that case he should of mentioned the developer of Moonbase Alpha to them which is Virtual Heroes Inc. who presumably DO have some sort of license agreement or the game would of been in hot water years ago.

I was told to have Virtual Heroes contact them, as I did. And would actually getting a licence be way out of the question? the software must be pretty old.
RIP all videos with the Moonbase Alpha voice
sadly there is no way to have dectalk export to wav files anymore as far as i know please inform me if there are any ways
Am I the only one who can't get speak.exe to even run?
The link to download doesn't work. Are you able to post one that doesn't have a 404 error?
Good Onery Overlords, Gotta Let Expired threads die.
There's Hella Enough reasons why we don't have a download
Nearly All Major Everythings should know this.
I did Google the name, but couldn't find it before you replied. I'll keep looking around, though.
