That car would look pretty good were it not for its lack of the ability to drive over anything taller than 2 centimeters.
Air ride or hydralics bud.... adjustable suspension. No doubt that raises up to ride height with the flip of a switch.
The only people riding around on static drops are people who are too cheap to do it right :)
In due time.. I can only have so many heaps laying around, and for now I don't need another project. My sights are kinda set on my own house before I chop something else up. Apartments are bleh.
That means the Monte's safe haha.
I will buy that Monte Carlo off of you. If only you were close to me...

Why would you want to go that low even while sitting still? It just looks like an invisible fat person is sitting on a car with shitty springs. :v:
But... it looks terrible.
Nice job man

How much you wanna buy the Monte for, Brad? Road Tripppp
I'm not hating your style clutch2. It's art for what it is, you guys are great fabricators too. It's just not our thing. It's still pretty interesting to read about and watch the builds.
For that Lincoln you just posted, what's the year down from that look like? I like the older ones from the 80s or so that really bounce when you go over a bump in the road.

I'm talking about for the Monte Carlo, Lemon.
oh
thats explains it
Wisconsin. Dunno a price, since I never actively really wanted to sell it or anything, lol.
I dont like the height, rims or the lights, they are a bit too much
I came in here expecting like, a restoration. I was whole-heartedly disappointed.
A restoration of what? It's a 99, nothing was rotted out or anything that needed restoring lol.
I've always wanted to take a really shitty car and go extremely over the top with pimp my ride esque bullshit (just like all the black people do!) and just drive around. Only problem is is that I've gatta make it so people know I'm not being serious.
So you're looking to spend a lot of money on a car that is a big joke??
Sounds like you need one of these:

No, that one looks more like it has an invisible fat person stuck under it.
So you like... stock?
Ride height was made to be changed, just ask those European fellows who stretch their tires so there's no wheel gap.
Yeah, Mini-vans and Semi-Trucks are totally meant to be lowered or raised.
The top one is utterly useless, and is just some guys backyard project. The bottom one is now useless as a semi since it was lowered. They're at that height for a reason.

airbags, have you heard of them?
semis usually have airbags in the rear from the factory anyway, why not install them in the front too?

Sure it can be changed and still look good. You gotta do it in moderation and try not to change it to the point where it becomes out of proportion with the car. Just because it can doesn't mean that having your car scraping the ground or flying 20 feet over it looks good or is helpful in any way.
you act like cars have to be completely functional and practical.
I fucking HATE driving practical/functional/reliable cars. They're boring, and have no "soul"

I want to build a mini marcos kit, but the donor car probably costs just as much as the kit
