you act like cars have to be completely functional and practical.
I fucking HATE driving practical/functional/reliable cars. They're boring, and have no "soul"
There's a difference between being practical and being boring. If you hate practical cars, you really are alienating a lot of really fun cars.
For instance, this car is very practical yet fun:

as is this:

...and this (even though it has an annoying fart pipe):

Besides, I don't just dislike raising and lowering cars to ridiculous amounts because it's impractical. It just plain looks stupid, it makes the wheels and etc. look out of proportion with the car, if you know what I mean.
Pre-loved, beat up cars>any brand new car. I know my truck loves me because she drives and runs like shit for anyone else. I also know when she's pissed off at me :P
"I feel this way so you should too"

I'm alright with driving cars that are meant to be little fun things to cruise around in, but you want your cars to be unreliable? Why?
None of those 3 cars on this page are very fun looking... half the fun of driving is driving someone that people turn their heads and stare while you drive by.
The only reason someone might be looking at one of them is because the Acura has a loud rice can on it.
Also.. the minivan that's jacked up is useless?? How? Looks just about as useful as any other lifted truck out there.. except there's a minivan body slapped on it.
Taking it to the edge need not apply to today's car enthusiasts I guess.

Its the sort of thing that you would do to an old van just because you could, and you and your buddies go "hey, lets go cruise in the monster van tonight!" or something like that.
That's not to say I don't appreciate sleeper cars though.
half the fun of driving is driving someone that people turn their heads and stare while you drive by.
Perhaps if you're an attention whore it is.
For me, the feeling you get from driving in general is the measure of how fun a car is. That being said, driving faster is generally more exiting.
None of those 3 cars on this page are very fun looking... half the fun of driving is driving someone that people turn their heads and stare while you drive by.
I completely disagree. I think the fun in driving comes from the experience of myself and the car, and not how other people perceive me. Yeah it'd be awesome to have people gawking at my car, but that's not a primary goal.
None of those 3 cars on this page are very fun looking... half the fun of driving is driving someone that people turn their heads and stare while you drive by.
"please look at me!"
personally I drive an economical car and don't give a shit if people aren't looking at me. I'm just trying to get to my destination safely.

How about driving these? I would.

So you enjoy cars that you're just wasting money on because they don't work properly? I like cars that are reliable and I can enjoy because they actually work.

The Mini-van is normally FWD. Just jacking it up is going to make it both perform horribly, and just flatout not work offroad. And judging by that height, it certainly wouldn't be useful for a family or going to the groceries like mini-vans are meant for.
And the people turning their heads at you driving aren't impressed with your car. They're disgraced to be in the presence of the Ghetto-Mobile and wondering why anyone would ever do that to a car.
I turn my head when i see old chevy/ford/dodge vans :v:

Actually sort of yes. If a car just works all the time you'll lose the feeling that thanks to you this car is working and running good. It just becomes another appliance in your life.
Your car choices are boring and mine are not. Simple as that.

Your ignorance is enraging. Apparently you don't know how things like that work. They didn't just jack up a minivan and put mud tires on it. Almost 90% of the time they take the donor car, and just put the body on a truck chassis. Is there any practical reason for it? No. Hell no. It's fucking stupid. But it's fun/funny so it doesn't matter.

I like knowing that my car is going to start up without a problem, and get me to my safely get me to my destination because you can never predict traffic. If a car works all the time, I see it as a good investment. Yeah, when I'm older and have a place of my own I'll have a car that I work on for fun, but for a daily, I don't see the point.
And I like how you claim my ignorance is enraging when you can't even read what i typed out.
Look at how i said "normally" and 'Just".
Whether they're looking at it in disgust or because it's cool doesn't matter, they're still looking. I like that.
Not hating on Hondas, but the one's pictured are nothing special, just every day consumer cars. I like Hondas done up a little.
This is very nice, for example:

I hate on any 4 banger with a can on it (honda or not) and nothing else done. They sound awful.
The vans are neat, MS paint'd or not.

If that's the case you shouldn't have spent boatloads of money giving your Buick oversized rims, ugly neon, and eye-searing bright paint.
You could have just done this and still accomplished your goal:
Oh my god is that cardboard?

Yes it is.
If you want a car to turn heads regardless of why, all you need is a few leftover boxes.

This car is all of my rage. Lowered, messed up camber on a FWD car, Wal-Mart looking rims, missing bumpers, and large exhaust holes.

Ahahaha, THIS is why I don't do a cardboard body kit. That's as lame as it gets, but this, this is what really makes them rage.
Also, what kind of ghetto ass neighborhood do you live in where the walmart there sells rims?
you call cheap ass rims that cost 500 and under walmarts bro.
afaik
those are just cheap ass wheel covers, not actual rims.
i saw those the other day at walmart
