Both the NDAA and SOPA came outa nowhere so fast that I can't even comprehend its stupidity.
I mean you're trying to pass a bill that clearly ignores the constitution that the president has sworn to protect and to not change.
It just doesn't make any sense. I thought the presidents over in America had a giant boner for not breaking the amendments.
So america is trying to be one of those countries that punish questioning authority and can get you even locked up for that?
Is there any specific name for totalitarian dictatorship of the rich?
Plutocracy is rule by the rich (can be applied to any governmental system), and plutarchy is an oligarchy of the rich.
I don't understand you guys, by him wanting the seperation of church and state to be abolished, by him not believing in evolution, means he's another Bible thumped who wants America to be a religious country. We aren't and thatvis a major thing, with that do you Want the president of the united states to not believe in a fact that evolution occurs? What will future school kids think.
Take a look at other. Things he wants, gold to back the united states currency, we don't have that much gold to do so. It would kill our currency system.
No matter his you try to justify his ideals its not good for a presisentt to have them.
Don't mind the spelling I'm on a phone

The entire first bit of your post is completely irrelevant, if Ron is true to his word about not letting his personal views get in the way of doing what is best for the country. As long as he isn't shitting up the education system and pushing his own religious/moral agenda, why even care about his views, he isn't setting an example for children, he would be president, not the supreme role model of the US.
The gold thing however, I'm not sure on, as I don't know very much about those matters.
Because all this shit about him making him look good is just the advertisnents and propaganda vetting to you. Ron Paul is a jackass just like all the other candidates out there, he doesn't believe in evolution, he doesn't believe in seperation of church and state, and he is an idiot religious ass like the rest. All we can hope for is better candiadates to come up in 2012.
Honestly, I'm not into politics, and I'm not even American, but from what I've heard, except for the whole religion crap, he doesn't seem so bad.
[sub][sub][sub]but then again i don't support the whole equality thing that means higher taxes for richer people (though some shit needs to be sorted out with money being stolen and etc.) because to me that seems like a big step towards socialism so I may be a horrible person[/sub][/sub][/sub]

I'm sorry but the leader of the nation is supposed to be a role model, not some person that you don't respect
Oh my god, he denies evolution! That makes everything he does null! *gasp*
He is against practically all forms of government regulation. Thats a double edged sword.
Jesus Christ, weren't we already over that it exempts US citizens from the bill and they're not included, though, it's still a very shady bill which is extremist. SOPA is an extremist way to stop piracy, not freedom of speech over the internet, but can be abused in such a way.
The video seems to be insanely sensationalist. Though I don't know, Ron seems... Ok I guess? But all the candidates just seem to be so stupid to me.

Well we have early 2012 for them to announce new candidates, I thought Obama would be the guy but after NDAA? I think he's trying to appeal to the GOP too much.

I thought someone said that they tried to make the exemption of US citizens an ammendment to it and it got shot down.
Jesus Christ, weren't we already over that it exempts US citizens from the bill and they're not included.
And we've already been over that it actually DOES include US and lawful citizens. It was confirmed by someone, forgot their name.
It says they're not required to detain US citizens not that they can't
They're trying to trick people with fine wording.

I just remembered that, fuck.
That is something could use to abuse it.
Is this a real ad? If so I now like Ron Paul, its good to see a candidate that actually knows what the fuck the internet is as well as what's going on on it
Edit: Damn its not, oh well :(
Is there a reason why people hate Ron Paul? He honestly seems like the best candidate so far.
hes a racist and an overall bigot
Please don't tell me you support Bachmann, Perry, or Gingrich.
Because that would be incredibly ironic.
Bachmann and Perry are borderline retarded, Gingrich has some problems but so far he's looking like the best possible option. What's ironic about it?

A main reason people don't like him is because he's pro state's rights vs. federal govt.
He specifically said that he wants states to decide on the issue of abortion. This means that practically every state except the super liberal ones will probably ban it.

He believes that RIGHT when conception happens abortion isn't allowed and you get equal rights.
I believe abortion is morally wrong most of the time and unneeded, but sometimes its a needed evil, and really, why the fuck should I have the right to decide on who aborts their baby? That means people should have the right to oppose my right to marry the same sex, which is nosey and insanely picky.
States rights is one of the big ones. While he personally supports gay marriage, he believes it's up to the states to decide whether it's legal or not, which could create problems.
Uh...he personally does not support gay marriage, but you are right in that he wishes the states to determine the legality. He is in support of gay civil union, but no gay marriage.
just vote for obama, trust me

If he lets SOPA and NDAA'12 pass, I will NOT vote for him.
Otherwise, he was a good choice.

He's openly said he'd Veto them, that whole "changed his mind about vetoing NDAA" thing was false, just like the claim it allows the indefinite detainment of U.S. citizens.

Oligarchy. The vast majority of Greek societies were that way.
They got their asses handed to them by fucking Athens, a true democracy (whereon every single person had a powerful voice; all equal).

Anyone who denies facts is not fit to be president.
