Damn you IE9 for not supporting WebGL!
Damn you IE9 for not supporting WebGL!
Why are you still using Internet Explorer at all.
Damn you IE9 for not supporting WebGL!
why.
How does one get it working on Chrome
Google Chrome/Chromium: Run it with --usr-gl=desktop flag: C:\path\to\Chrome.exe --use-gl=desktop
Works for me but at an unplayable 5fps
It's like Minecraft's biome and world editors, except better.
Tried the fix, and I do eventually get a land-mass, but beyond that it just gives me repetitive messages about stopping the script :v:
That site have awesome other webgl demos http://codeflow.org
doesn't work on chrome too
Whoops, shit happens. water/display.shader: program link: undefined: Shader@0x050EB4C8(209,9): warning X3206: implicit truncation of vector type Shader@0x050EB4C8(182,21): warning X3571: pow(f, e) will not work for negative f, use abs(f) or conditionally handle negative values if you expect them Vertex shader sampler count exceeds MAX_VERTEX_TEXTURE_IMAGE_UNITS (4).
Omg I want it to work, love to play wit these sort of things!

I made an island and then flooded everything
I'm like full of ideas about what you just can do with this technology or whatever its called Like that the computer is building cities all over your world and that you can demolish them with flooding it or shit like that A man can dream..

It works but it's slow as hell for me.
It works but it's slow as hell for me.
Could that be it?
WORKS UNDER CHROME: In the launch options (such as the shortcut), append --use-gl=desktop
Could that be it?
Macs generally have much better openGL support, and webGL in particular (it works on my mac, not on the windows machine). That's why almost nobody can get it to work, I think.
I think he means that Macs are slower.
It's true that it's a misconception that Macbooks are powerful enough to run this sort of thing smoothly (what the author of this simulation had to say in response to a similar complaint) but it works just fine for me on an intel imac.
Oh god this is great. Give it a proper engine (for graphical enhancments really) and more features and this will be what From Dust should have been (or almost was).
beautiful.
