And yet, I'm a professionally diagnosed guy with Aspergers, I can get the papers if ya want proof (but not right away, can't remember where they are.)
EDIT: Although I have had a lot of help and stuff in the past, and just recently I had to tell one of my friends at uni that I had Aspergers as they never even knew! It's strange how I've sorta... grown out of the Aspergers. I still have traits of it, but I think I'm sorta normal. And I just hate the word Neurotypical, it just sounds so jerky and discriminatory (even though it isn't.)

I'm surprised how many people think ASD is a bad thing. It's a disorder, not a disability. I think of it as a different way of thinking.
I was not talking about the people in this thread. I was talking about "Aspies". I doubt there's many here, if any.
You offended me with that statement. I'm ok with it anyway.

I love mimicking animal noises. And the noises of other people. I love the variety of sounds on the planet earth and finding ways to reproduce them. It helps with my music.
I never knew until I took this test that this made me at least slightly autistic.
Why would someone say they have Aspergers or another Autism spectrum disorder when they don't?
Because it's a cop-out answer to why a lot of people here don't have many friends.
Either I am not paying attention or actually am really so, but every time I am on here, I have never seen anyone mention this, or anyone say something to trigger that answer on this site. Also, that cop-out thing is wrong, hopefully that is not really something that constantly is going on, not that you will be benefited from Social Security for saying so, really having it or not. Its kind of like saying your spouse has cancer, when she doesn't. This is aggravating to the real people that do have a similar situation. Everyone seems to respect you when you know someone does not have as long a life.
However, I don't think copping out is entirely true. I mean look at Tony Hawk. He has money, children, and is famous, and he just casually said he had it to Bonnie Hunt. (she played the porsche from disney/pixars cars) on NBC. This is despite the fact you may remember him only participating in the action of just one stunt in one of the Jackass films and doing the stunt successfully, without a mark on his skin, unlike his friends, the stars of the series, who are so careless, wreckless, not to mention sexless (they literally break their balls a lot, you know Jackass by now) When you are a kid, I mean below 15, look and sound miserable, lesser grades, you know when it's real. The thing is, there really are a number of those who have AS. Some people have accepted the fact, some have gotten carried away, some are in complete denial, some lie about it. All I know is, when I signed up, I did not want to come to FP and randomly mention one day I had it, because I just could not feel normal anymore. Imagine everyone did have just this disability in some school. My concern is, there will then be realization that not having friends had nothing to do with AS.
Disregarding AS, and looking at all the other special needs, or disabled, being in best buddies, it is not like they all get along with each other. There are so many reasons on this planet that separate people; ideas, politics, religion, ps3, xbox, pc, mac, etc.
Compared to what the test says, and what some people say, the problem is Aspergers is not exactly just a social disorder, there are alterations in health and development. You may be slower at solving assignments, such as 5 paragraph original essays, or taking a time limited test. I have heard, it is so bad, some people can not get behind the wheel. There may be some hand-eye coordination issues as well, especially when it comes to baseball. This is where it sucks to be slow to react to a ball that is flying at you, say 70 mph.
If all those "scratchy" tags on the bag of your shirt, bother you, and make your skin get irritated, I mean every shirt you have, not just few, you may have a full case of AS. Someone with AS, usually has irritations because their senses are over sensitive. Certain loud sounds may do it too. I knew this one girl, I am sorry to say, had a bad habit of making me laugh after she got angry about what seemed kind of silly. I guess she had extra sensitive ears, and she would sometimes get to the point of almost crying, when being annoyed. For example, if you made her watch performances of the group, STOMP, the group that makes music, just by banging off of objects caused her aggravation. I do Not say it is right, but from a mean standpoint, this seemed like it was the reason others could easily be mean to her.
The other thing, when living with AS, chances are you would not be able to tell if you met a girl who is honestly into you, just taking advantage of you, or really wanted money for you to love her. Personally, not knowing the difference when someone does such sarcasms and scams really is not funny. You do not want to wish to have this.

Well that went as expected.
Although while I was doing this test, I noticed that a lot of things that would be attributed to aspergers are traits that one of my most annoying classmates has.
