What's neurotypical traits mean ?
Dissect the word and figure it out using Latin roots.
The word typical in it screams its meaning though.
Basically you have autistic traits but your normal..
You're the weird kid in class but no one really knows why.
"Do you have unusual sexual preferences?"
Being gay is because of ass burgers?
[img_thumb]http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/9932/poly12c.png[/img_thumb]
Also did anyone else notice there were a few questions that were repeated? Like one about your humour being different from the social norm? Which is a stupid question anyway since different parts of the world has different humour(E.G. Britain and the US)
Having unusual sexual preferences can shows you're not afraid to conform/or don't understand how to conform.
Or well thats WHAT I think they mean, I don't have a M.D in social psychology
The issue with these test is its saying being unusual/being just different makes you have a condition.
Which really isn't accurate, cause you could always be gay but on the aspie test its considered a "symptom"
Well that was a mean way to put it, even if it was unintentional.
Well that was a mean way to put it, even if it was unintentional.
Oh calm down, take a joke.
I actually do have Aspergers, though i REALLY have come out of it .

My brother is professionally diagnosed with autism.
I had epilepsy and my doctor always tells me that goes hand in hand.
Anyways, people who say your were diagnosed with it (professionally) and yet appear Neurotypical, well my theory is this.
Just the Doc trying to sell you more expensive shit by diagnosing you with something you really don't have.
Trust me, this happens alot. My Mom works around these people 24 seven at the hospital and she knows that doctors and physcicians do this often.
Well, actually, that's not all that common. I've kinda learned to be neurotypical-ish (as in suppressing the bad parts of ASD) enough to pass for a neurotypical, so my results are only accurate to the present. If I had taken this test a few years ago, I would have gotten a higher aspie score and a lower neurotypical score. I'm sure others here with ASD would be the same (thus explaining the results being inconsistent with their diagnosis).
Edit:

Idk, maybe because it's a disrespectful thing to post on a semi-serious thread about the subject matter the video makes fun of.
I'll repeat this one more time - despite what you think, ASD is a disorder, not a disability. I'm just as able as everyone else (ok, perhaps even more able mentally - who else here has written a post-collage level thesis on the subject of time at the age of 16?).
Edit: I reported that video on Youtube.

Yeah, they're the "control" questions mentioned elsewhere in the thread. They're basically the exact same question, just worded slightly differently. You're supposed to answer very similarly (if not exactly the same) to both questions, to give kinda a 'baseline' or something to judge all the other questions based off. If you answer the control questions inconsistently it probably means you're not taking the test seriously because your answers contradict themselves.
