His reactions feel scripted, and are leaps and bounds beyond how any normal person would react to something. In the old days they were still exaggerated but it was for the most parts still how a wacky person could react ot something. I dunno, maybe I just have a huge rose tint boner for old Jon.

I hate to say it but I think I've been spoiled by jon, because Titenic and this one are like 6/10's compared to most of his work some smiles here and there but he's too sedated and not really making a lot of jokes I wonder if the sponsor has anything to do with that

If everything was fine between Jon and Arin I think Jon would say something like "stop pissing off Arin, i left, thats it" but you can tell Jon has fun mentioning Game Grumps and it looks like he wants to start shit up. I sometimes think he wants Arin to tell everyone what really happened when he decided to move with his GF. He left because of his girlfriend obviously but if they were friends i believe they would still talk to each other and do other shit but now, they(or at least Arin does) actively look to avoid each other.

I think the reasons might just be as simple as they are presented. When Steam Train was beginning it was clear from the trailers Jon was still intended to be in the show, so unless something very suddenly cleaved through their friendship I doubt it was that. Besides, the nagging of where's Jon, why isn't Jon here, I wish Jon was still a grump, just constantly, it's no wonder they're censoring Jon's name from the videos. They're trying as hard as possible to avoid stirring the shit. They wanted a clean cut from the beginning, Jon said his goodbyes and they try not to talk about it. I'm sure they're not openly conversing with each other as much because people would immediately start going "Oh my god is Jon coming back or maybe new series???"
