But mine was essentially a corded version of what jon had, because the last wireless logitech I had was utter shit.

I've had the wired version of that, best pair of headphones i've ever used. Amazing sound and I like tight headsets but the build quality was just lackluster. Where the earcups connected to the headband they were made of really nasty cheap plastic, and what do you know they broke within six months. So i head a functioning headset but the earcups were not fixed to the headband. Does the wireless version suffer from that?
