I'm not blaming their speculation, I'm blaming how insane their speculation is.
People can go ahead and say "Oh well maybe they had a falling out or something."
But instead they say shit like "Oh it's because Jon jizzed on Suzie's face while she was sleeping here's a picture." or "Oh Jon's girlfriend is super controlling and forced him to quit and move away with her."
Speculation is fine, but when it starts getting abusive or just downright crazy I'd rather there be no speculation at all because all it does is spiral out of control and infect everything from reddit to youtube comments and twitter.

I do understand your worry though, one webseries I liked moved to a YouTube channel that has far less viewers.
I'm further worried because instead of a new episode, the guy has started a Let's Play series on there.

People need to stop assuming that. If there was a new video, it'd probably be posted by itself as well as here. This [i]is[/i] a megathread after all, so there's going to be normal discussions that crop up sometimes that aren't related to a new video.

He moved away and wanted to give his Jontron channel his full attention. I can see why conspiracies pop up though, considering Jon and Arin hadn't made any contact after that up until recently. Plus, they don't have their names on each other's channels anymore, idk if there's a reason for that.

he said this was the beginning of season 3, so i'm pretty sure it isn't being cancelled
