It's pretty neat that someone went out of their way to make a realistic looking model of JonTron, but there's some problems with it that may have something to do with the limitations with the preset stuff he used.
To me, it seems like the JonTron model has a bit too much hair on his facial hair when in reality, he doesn't have that much hair around his jaw. His hair also looks a little too stringy (is that the right word for it?) where his actually hair tends to be more full and fluffy. His face seems to decently resemble the real Jon, but the familiarity of his face kinda falls apart with some of the flexes applied like what's shown in this picture, specifically the mouth:

I think what this guy could have done to make the facial flexes share that familiarity is take references of Jon's different facial expressions and then manually match whatever flex with a similar detail in those references like how he smiles and shit, kinda like how this guy Kent made blendshapes for his Steve Carrell model (Though, I suppose I shouldn't expect the guy who made the JonTron model to be amazingly artistic, but this is just an example).

Overall, if I was in his position, I would probably at least take the liberty of making some other stuff that I couldn't get from the software like the correct hair style and facial hair myself so that I can get it to look accurate enough. At the most, I would have just made the model from scratch.
Also, I just noticed that the software the guy used to make the models has some of the TF2 mercs in it for some reason.

These are from a student at "Høyskolen i Hedmark" in Norway. Which is pretty random because I was at their school on thursday to check out their showreel and this model popped up.

I'm honestly 100% expect a Jon and AVGN crossover at this point. It's mad because when I was younger AVGN was game reviewer everybody loved. It would be an ace crossover.
Even if it's just Vader turning out to be James, at this point I doubt they spent so much time doing stuff for James' channel and nothing for Jons.

I'm pretty sure they're already all finished and recorded, I understand wanting to hold back content a bit but really the waits are just ludicrous it started airing a month ago and we've had 2 videos.

That was a hell of a build up for 2 episodes.
Kind of a random note here, but it's interesting to see Jon's rise to fame ever since his Daikatana review. He's gone from working mostly by himself to having funded projects like Starcade because of his contract with Polaris. I wonder if he ever expected to reach this point.

Probably not. When Jon started making videos it was pretty unheard of that people would sign contracts to video themselves playing video games.
What I really dig about Jon is he really seems to fucking care about what his audience thinks, despite his rise to "fame". He seems like totally the same person, if a bit more confident now, that he was in his first video.
He put up that video explaining JonTron was still coming and Starcade is a separate thing when there was some trepidation over Starcade feeling different. He's even quite honest over the whole Game Grumps thing, saying he doesn't like the dishonesty about the real reasons he left and openly admits he [I]can't[/I] talk about it instead of pretending nothing happened. He takes time to make his content the best he can.
Anybody else would gladly pump out shit and keep everybody at arm's length once they smash an average of 1-2mil views.
