This whole legacy servers thing is so nostalgically reminiscent of what Runescape players were going through in late 2012/early 2013

Its a very relatable issue for me, I feel like a lot of MMOS I played used to be better in the past than they are now.

Yup and now you've got 07scape. Why isn't blizzard this smart? It'll literally take them a few moments to spin up their old source (If they even still have it). There are thousands upon thousands of people who'd pay for a legacy service and Blizzard has their head to far their own asses to notice.

Well to be fair it was a good couple of months from the time 2006scape was shut down and when Old School Runescape was announced. If it plays out the same as our situation then the uproar and massive desire for legacy servers that comes from shutting down private server alternatives will be enough to make Blizzard give in. If they dont then oh well guess Jagex is just a better company these days lol

I honestly don't understand what Blizzard is thinking, I mean in that video with the developers that Jon used. Is that man retarded, theres a reason vanilla servers exist is because ur game sucks now.

I bet if they opened legacy servers and charged the same monthly sub rate for that, they'd gain back a ton of players. If they could choose to sub to classic WoW and not be required to sub to current WoW, they would more or less make a good amount of free money. All the work for Vanilla WoW is done, all they would have to do is throw it on a few servers. No dev time involved, other than maybe implementing a few newer features (updated textures, models, etc) into it

Only allusion was the IMDB page, which said that it was the main kid's first role in television, thus I assume that this was some made for TV movie that was then ported to VHS and somehow DVD.
