JonTron Megathread: The Most Retarded Thread on Facepunch - General

Wow i hate all of this. I was curious of the amount of pages talking about Jontron, then i notice his last video is 1 month old. I know it shouldn't affect my enjoyment on the videos, but it manages to leave a bitter taste with all this over the top drama, damn.

After listening to the stream I like Jontron even more. He is a very good Human bean

I have mutual friends with both of them, so all of this... hurts. I do wanna point out though that PBG hired a friend of mine to help edit videos, and it's had a hugely positive impact on his life. That's how I ground my opinion of PBG. It makes it awful to see people ripping into him in this thread. I do understand your reasons for doing so, but people are more complex than their tweets make them out to be. We are more than those 140 characters.

Even tho I got unfriended, keep watching PBG (and JT) videos, seriously. Their videos are not affected by this drama.

I couldn't figure anything out on twitter. I had to come here to get the full recap. All I found on twitter were either shitposts by right wing people or outrage from SJWs saying shit about how "jontron was never good, unfollow me if you ever liked jontron" and other such rubbish. People need to be less anally retentive.

I don't necessarily agree with every little thing that he said, but his talk with Sargon was totally reasonable. His big point was that he's fed up with having to stay quiet about his views because, since he's an entertainer, people will start a witch hunt any time anyone has an unpopular opinion. Ah jeez, this whole situation makes me sad. I've been watching my group of friends rant about how much of a nazi jontron is, and I really don't want to get involved and tell them they're being fucking idiots. I really like Jon, and maybe I don't agree with everything he says, he's still a nice guy and doesn't deserve all of the shit people are giving him. I really don't handle this kind of drama well, even if it's second hand.
