Suit+good looks=general mafia Ignoring the employees of an establishment you own doesn't seem like much of a big deal either, especially if you're hell bent on vengeance.
He also kept his picture of him and Viktor hidden. If he was a friend, brother or son then why bother?
Watching the latest episode. Not only is it laughably bad, it's also very awkward.
Oh man. Isaak is sooo coool. [sp] Like he said, under different circumstances...that would have been awesome [/sp] Time for a Dexter x Isaak
He also kept his picture of him and Viktor hidden. If he was a friend, brother or son then why bother?
No one is arguing that he isn't [sp]gay[/sp]. It was explicitly stated in the last episode. Just that dressing well isn't a good indicator. The photo and disinterest in strippers are genuine hints though.
That was a damn good episode. Let's hope they can keep that up.
That was a damn good episode. Let's hope they can keep that up.
hopefully they don't focus on the annoying child actors again
So far this season is shaping to be one of the best yet. After that abomination which is season 6, I almost lost hope for the show. Jennifer Carpenter really knocked the last episode out of the park.
nowhere near 'one of the best' just 'a lot less bad than the last two'
For me past 2-3 seasons are like "Dexter Mornags's A Series of Unfortunate Events". In another way: Let's see how Dexter finds a way out from the deep shit. Although I very like current season. Specially Victor. And Miranda Lawson. I mean Hannah McKay.
"33 New Posts" Welp, I guess rusty's disagreeing again. Instead we're having an actual conversation. I love Isaak (or Isaac? Which is it?), he's probably my favorite villain since season 1. Also Hannah on the beach in a see-through shirt. Seriously?

In terms of entertainment value, this season is easily matching with season 3, and is a vast improvement in quality over the last two. I like how laguerta is really gaining on dexter as the bhb suspect. Finally the subplots are contributing to the tension for the first time since season 4 rather slowing the main story arc down
Dexter got pretty emotional over [sp]Brother Sam's death.[/sp]
Not really. [sp]When Dex's nanny asked him how Dex was dealing with the sudden death of his good friend Sam, Dexter just said something along the lines of "Well, it sucks." But in his mind Dexter carried Sam's legacy for a little bit, learning about good, and bad, and redemption and rehabilitation. That's what Dexter does when he's all emotional. Also when talking with other killers (victims, Isaak, etc.)[/sp]
He carried that "legacy" for, what, one episode? All mention of Sam was gone once Dexter had [sp]killed the guy who killed Sam[/sp]
Yes, you can't expect more than that from an emotionless psycho nut. So it's pretty good imo.
Up to season 6, so why don't they do those cool and strange dream sequences anymore exactly?
Barrage of random thoughts: I'm happy knowing I wasn't the only one who did a mental check in his head every time Hannah was wearing a see-through shirt. Deb smoking weed with Astor (Aster? Asstor? Fuck if I know) was a cute sequence even though it wasn't meant to be "cute" really. Astor is only like 12 I thought? She's a pretty edgy for a 12 year old. I hope Cody becomes an awesome motherfucker, I like his enthusiasm and how he contrasts with his sister, despite the fact they assigned her the "generic edgy maturing child/teen" role. I don't know why I didn't foresee [sp]Isaak being gay.[/sp] Looking back it really does make a lot of sense, I guess in my mind I didn't see that coming from this show particularly. I feel so tense whenever [sp]Dexter and Hannah are in the same room together. I always feel like "oh shit one of them is gonna snap and kill the other". I get the idea that Dexter doesn't quite share this feeling though, as he feels 'safe' with her. It's some fine irony.[/sp] [sp]Isaak's voice turns me on in a non-homolust way... /rainbows[/sp]
Astor is like 14/15 I thought?
She was 12 in season 4 i think

First her emo phase, and now her pot smoking phase. Too bad shes a bad actor, and her angst moments are cringe worthy.
snnip
Fuck, I was not expecting that ending to season 6, or that first episode of season 7.

Subtle change is Walter White in Breaking Bad or Jax Teller in Sons of Anarchy.

It's already been established that the books have very little to do with the show after the first season.
Unghell.
read the books , she shows up more there
Please don't read the books. They're awful.
