That's not much of a theory, about Dexter's mother I mean... Dexter's mother was Harry's snitch, and he failed to protect her, so technically he was (at least partly) responsible for her death, no?

I'm probably alone, but I'd actually say the overall season itself satisfied me more than season 4.

For one; Doakes. There was a lot going on at a fast but viable pace. The past didn't just get swept under the rug, and seeing all that is Dexter get resurfaced season by season was personally satisfying. Doakes. Great performances to make up for Colin Hanks' lackluster Travis last year, particularly Ray Stevenson and Jennifer Carpenter. Doakes. A lot of character development this time around. Doakes. A huge payoff in the end. And Doakes.

I know this'll get more hate, but I'm torn on whether to put 7 higher than 3. I enjoyed 7 overall more than 3, but 7 did have some outright dumb moments. 3 was written better, but just bored me (Took too long to get interesting. also, Jimmy Smits belonged more in GTA with his performance).
