LaGuerta has to be found by miami metro, otherwise they're just disappearances, and then it just shows that LaGuerta was going after dex and disappeared, looking more suspicious on dex's part. But if that happens then the ballistics will show that a 9mm Glock was used, and not Estradas revolver. I wonder how they're going to pull this one off. Also can you guys say some of the plot holes you noticed in the finale? I'm curious if you guys spotted any i didn't.
Bad guy's phone to call LaGuerta, Dispatch knew where she was, Deb asked about her whereabouts, LaGuerta harassing Dexter... If they don't get caught then something is really fucking wrong.

[editline]24th December 2012[/editline] quinn
i wish quinn would die
I think Quinn and Nadia are pretty done, it was all about Nadia now being free from the Koskas. They properly focus on Quinn and Batistia's sister as a side story. Though they'll properly been though enough of Quinn's love life, rather then worry about who Dex is fucking. Hannah would come back in the final season to make things dark for Dexter. I don't know if it's gonna be romantic.
Quinn should get his own spin off. [editline]24th December 2012[/editline] I wouldn't watch it but it would get him off the main show.
The Organized Crime saga went off too quickly, only enough to make way for the Hannah/Dexter/Debra love triangle. Of course the final season will be 16 episodes, which is going be awesome. Thought up some ideas, I was thinking about Deb and LaGuerta's conversation about politics, huh, final season about polictial intrigue, conspiracies, etc. I think the titles could be been abit better. Episode 6: Finding Our Way Back To Another An idea title, I thought up, because that is familiar to what Dexter said this season. I brought Lumen back for some reason, no reason why I put her back as a idea in the series, she's done, I'll change it. Episode 2: Politically Incorrect. Description: Dexter starts off researching Governor Tanner's past of anything suspicious that may lift open a new can of worms, in hopes he can figure out who will kill try to kill him. A surprise visit from Lumen, brings his next plan into motion at a halt, when Lumen needs help tracking down her brother whose in Miami that may of gotten trouble with some bad people that want him dead. Debra meets Lumen face to face about her feelings for Dexter and her involvment with Jordan Chase. Episode 3: The Dust Is Settling. Description: Saying goodbye to Lumen one last time, Dexter continues his investigation with the attempted plot to kill Tanner from invisible assassins, but Matthews tells him that he recieved a piece of evidence that Estrada wasn't alone with LaGuerta. Though Matthews dismisses it and promises he won't continue the BHB further. Dexter targets a possible suspect in the assassination plot named Richard Connors, a strong family man and employee of Tanner, which takes him back to the Trinity Killer's similarities. Debra begins to feel the effects of Dexter's need to kill when she nearly kills a suspect in interrogation of The Miami Beach Beheading Massacare, realizing her ability to work takes a toll on her, because of Dexter. Episode 4: Take It Easy. Description: Dexter warns Debra to take a day off, before anything happens to her though Debra tells him that she may not be able to control her, and blames him. Batista, begins to look into Dexter's past, and finds a clue which could bring Dexter down for good. Quinn and Jamie go on thier second date, and things heat up for the couple, but Dexter gets more jealous when Quinn becomes too close to his son. Dexter prepares his trap for Richard and hopefully learn more about the plot, but it begins to feel harder then it looks. Critics. DO YOUR WORST. HA-HA-HA HEE-HEE-HEE whirl whirl whirl. PROVE ME WRONG for using psychic powers.
I fucking LOVE this show! So glad my friend "convinced" me to watch them. Too bad I hadn't started until now (kind of later than others). I'm currently just finished Season 4 lastnight and must say that finale was INSANE! About to purchase Season 5 & 6 on Blu-ray once I'm done typing this :)

[editline]25th December 2012[/editline] It all goes downhill from here.

do not buy seasons 5 and 6.

Too late. It's coming in the mail tonight! Also note that I heard the same thing about Season 4, but I rather enjoyed it. I'm sure I won't enjoy 5 & 6 as much as the predecessors but it's still Dexter.

man i really liked where they were going with season 7 but then they [sp]killed off isaak[/sp] fuck that i actually liked the villain plot for once and isaak actually had some depth also was half-expecting doakes to come back, i was actually kind of disappointed he didn't
There was no real villain of the season, properly Dexter's Dark Passenger. I'm glad it ended the way it did. Makes for great storylines for the final season.

Just re-watched season 1. Getting my girlfriend to watch good TV! I hadn't realised how much this show had gone downhill. I mean, this show was funny. Like, really funny. And smart. I still think it's still a decent show, but man. That first season is brilliant.
http://www.dexterdaily.com/2013/01/dexter-season-8-casting-scoop-new.html New casting for season 8. Properly two new love interests for both characters.
So I just finished Season 5 lastnight (I know I'm still way behind but I want to enjoy the show instead of rushing through it) and I must say that I liked it. Of course it's not as good as your "grand" Season 1, but still an interesting story in the life of Dexter.
Finished season 7 after 2 days of watching. Hannah was so badly made imo, I love her actress after Chuck but jesus she was an awful character in Dexter. Also somewhat wanted [sp]Deb to shoot Dexter, maybe not kill him but I still want to see what would happen if he got caught and arrested and actually went to jail[/sp]

Just started watching this show after all these years - been meaning to sooner but never got around to it. Only just finished the first episode, it was great. What I found most interesting was that by just the half way point, the quality of the writing and pacing etc essentially had me feeling like I could easily have been 5 seasons into an established show - everything just felt proper. Look forward to completing the whole thing, I've got everything that's so far available on blu-ray so hopefully that gives me the full experience!
Season 8 will air this summer and it will be the last season http://www.joblo.com/horror-movies/news/under-the-dome-and-dexter-season-8-get-premiere-dates
They didn't say there that it would be the last, just that an end game will be in place with this season.
Last season should start off flash-forwarding in the future, and deeply going back to past on how Deb deals with what she had done, maybe they'll won't see eye to eye for most of the episode back. But Dexter's final season mostly focuses on his origins, etc.

Casting announcement for the next season. Charlotte Rampling will have a key role.
Charlotte Rampling has been cast in a recurring role as a neuro-psychiatrist who specializes in working with young psychopaths and profiling criminals in unorthodox ways. We hear the role has a significant impact on next season’s story.
http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/01/24/dexter-charlotte-rampling/
Well, I'm not sure this will lead Deb to be a psychopath.
