Went Home this weekend and my brother let me borrow the third season so as soon as I get some time free after classes I will start it up.

That doesn't protect the 3 or so episodes that were absolutely shit. There's no excuse for just stretching out the Lumen plot just because the story wasn't big enough to span the entire season with plot development
How the fuck isn't learning who Lumen is, that she was kidnapped by a group and not 1 person, the killing of Boyd, the killing of the 2nd guy plot development? If it wasn't "stretched" as you say to include stuff like Dexter trying to send her away then you guys would be crying over Dexter trusting her too much and it being an idiotic move after Miguel or her trusting Dexter too much.
You know just because you don't like what happened in previous episodes doesn't mean it's not plot development.

it's not plot development if the plot doesn't go anywhere. it was seriously the same three episodes with the same plot over and over, except with a few minor revelations

Kind of disappointed in the last two episodes. next Sundays looks much better though!
I'm loving the new season.

it wasn't because she looked bad, it's because she's a dull, boring "somebody else has a dark passenger" character that we've seen before. it's predictable that whenever somebody like this comes into dexter's life, they end up dead and we all know it's going to be her on his table in the final episode. not to mention lila and maguel are basically the same thing just this character has been ELECTRIFIED in the psychotic department
