Am I the only one who doesn't like watching the previews for the next episode? I think it ruins the surprise. I like not having any idea of what the next episode is going to be about.
Just watched the newest episode. Liked it lots more than the last two. I like watching the previews for the next episode because they just give you the really stressful parts, but not enough info to figure out what's going on, but on the other hand, a complete mystery is cool.
So I was getting blown while watching the latest episode of Dexter, then Lumen's face popped up and I instantly lost my erection.
Initially the woman was insulted but after I explained to her and pointed her to the TV she understood immediately.
I found your post funny but I can't say I agree with it. Julia Stiles is pretty attractive.

Audience positioning is not unintentional. Quinn is becoming more likable for a reason. He is not going to do anything to put Dexter in jail. If he was, the audience positioning would make us not like him. It's the whole antagonist/protagonist thing. Quinn will be a longtime character in the show and perhaps even a hero despite the investigation. It's hard to explain.. but if Quinn was going to go against dexter, for example in the finale, we would see him doing really shady things and perhaps even talking shit about deb. so we go "wtf is he up to, i hate that guy" instead he is hardly even interested in investigating dexter any more and seems to genuinely like deb.
Has anyone read the new book? It's pretty good so far.

The ending was a little creepy, you could just tell that Chase knew Lumen was on the phone and was torturing her with it, then dropped the bomb at the end.

definitely actually getting good
and i really like it when dex does something good, seeing him be a good dad is exactly what i want
this is what the writers needed all along. dexter being a great and caring father, while still kicking ass and taking names. throw in a lot of drama and tension that he manages to keep separate from his family life, that's how it needs to be done.
