Anyone else feel like this season doesn't have enough twists? The suspense is there sometimes, but not enough :aaa: moments.

Just finished season 3. Now I just need to get my hands on 4. I would buy it but I have no money. I'll just have to see if someone has it.

Like when Deb went into the room, rather then dexter BEING IN ANOTHER PLACE they should have had Lumen stab the guy while Deb and Quinn walk in, but they don't see her and Dexter properly and they manage to get away without being seen thus now you have confirmation of two suspects killing people and it's all getting fucking shit even though i have no idea how they'd escape in a justifyable way and about lumen fucking dexter it's not just awkward but plain fucking unrealistic. if you got raped and tortured by 5 men over and over and then got locked away to die in a room you wouldn't want to fuck somebody 2 months after. i'm okay with a dexter and lumen moment where they sort of look at eachother awkwardly and she hugs him or something, but actually fucking somebody after getting raped only like 2 months after it happened would NEVER HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. i mean fuck rita got raped like twice and she couldn't do it for a year after she knew dexter was right but even then she wasn't raped over and over and tortured and shit fucking hell writers. this season better have the best fucking ending ever or like rusty i'm done

Dexter and Lumen don't exactly have a normal relationship. People generally don't hunt down and kill several people that repeatedly tortured and raped them. You could tell by Lumen's face when she closed the door, she had a sense of safety coming home with Dexter at the end of the episode. She hadn't had that since before it all happened to her. And did anyone notice the foreshadowing of the end scene, where Dexter gives her the DVD and she gets emotional towards him.

Season 6 is the last I believe [editline]29th November 2010[/editline] Or at least last renewed.

Dexter is going to have no trouble being renewed for more seasons, as long as their quality doesn't start spiraling downwards.

This last season is so blegh. I mean lumen is such a horrible character. Worse than any other of his acquaintances.

I don't DESPISE Lumen, but I would be much happier if she was out of the picture.

I think the next season may focus on Dexter and Lumen working together and how it affects their personal life/relationship. Of course, this is given that Lumen doesn't meet her end or leave at the end of this season.

Man I'm really glad the season picked up. [sp]Jordan chase is an awesome antagonist [/sp] can't wait to see how it plays out. I like lumen as a character for the most part. She does get a little annoying at times and I hope to god this isn't the last season of Dexter.

$5 says Lumen dies in the last episode of Season 5.

I really have no idea how I feel about this season anymore. I've gone from excited to disappointed to excited to uncertain. The end of the last episode was so unexpected, even though people had been predicting it I didn't think it would actually happen, but it wasn't AS retarded as it sounded but but... I don't know. I'm used to being in love with this show and now i'm just not sure what to think.

I'm torn about this season. I really like Jordan Chase as a character and the general plot, but the general execution is so/so. The problem is they were kind of slow to start and now it feels slightly rushed.

Netflix doesn't let me stream Season 3 :crying:
