this weeks episode was intense!
Just watched the latest episode, the van scene was pretty good. I'm not sure of one thing, did Quinn never look at Liddy's photos of Dexter and Lumen on the boat? and did Dexter just leave them there? ALSO, we already knew the first rape victim talks to Jordan and they're friends, why did they make it seem to us like she's really asking for Lumen's and Dexter's help?
the scene in the van was p intense, shame that they didn't really use liddy to his full potential.

But he doesn't want to bring him down because of Debra. (and I think there's more to it than that)
fucking hell next week's gonna be so intense judging by the previews!

You don't see Dexter's hands because he's probably tied up, but the scene where dexter stabs that foot (looks like dexter anyway), he's wearing the exact same gloves.[/sp] gahh I can't wait.
Can someone provide a link to that preview? Nevermind, found it. Here it is in case someone else wants to see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbqW0IKelE4
well god damnit.
previews for next episode. no automerge?
this is gonna be an awesome season finale
Great episode. I really think Dexter shouldn't have left those pictures there though, I'm almost positive that if Quinn gets cornered he'll bring those to light. And if the blood hitting his boot was anything to go by, I'd say that's a distinct possibility.
My finale prediction (hope this is how it goes down): I'm really convinced Lumen is going to make it through the season finale alive. It's gonna be an epic fight between Dexter and Jordan to save her life. I think he's going to pull it off and Jordan is going to get the blame for the killings once they find Emily's body. Deb will get to them after Jordan's dead. Or something along those lines. So, so pumped to see if I'm base with this.
I hope Lumen stays for the next season, I like her. She's a lot less annoying than Rita.
Plus Dexter wouldn't have to lie to her when he's out and about doing his thing and she's watching the kids. The episode with Dexter and Astor probably has her won over for liking Lumen being around and Cody should be okay with it because he always is okay with what Dexter does.
This isn't Dexter anymore. I just hope the writing will be better next season.
I've got a pretty solid idea of what it will be, I'll media tag the images and spoiler my concrete theory so if you don't want to hear it, feel free to ignore the spoiler tags. [sp]Deb catches them, shit happens[/sp] [sp]Two important things in this picture, one the knife has no blood on it yet, which implies that Jordon Chase hasn't been killed yet, and he is still on the table in this still. Second, is that Lumen is there as well. Proving that they were the vigilantes.[/sp] [sp]The last picture it seems that Deb has freed, or ordered Dexter/Lumen to free him. I imagine if it was ordered that Lumen free him, he most likely hit her or tried to kill/killed Lumen. If Deb did it, he probably pulled a gun on her or something of that nature. Dexter then dives to the floor, grabs his knife and plunges it into Jordon's foot, starting an epic fight scene which will end with Jordon Chase dead, and Deb having seen Dexter kill him.[/sp] My only explanation.
I jut finished season 4. I... I can't believe it. I don't even wanna watch the fifth now.
Honestly though, you know I think season 5 could have been better. It had a decent storyline.. but really? Was it as good as the other series? It just didn't feel solid to me, it felt very wavey and fillerish. Of course maybe something awesome will happen in the finale, but I dunno. I'm not that happy with season 5 to be honest
I'm happy with it because everything that was done this season had to be done. It is almost like a filler season, but it's a damn good one at that.
lumen wont die because they did that already with rita
watching a lot of breaking bad has made me realise how terrible the writing for season 5 actually is. its such a shame
watching a lot of breaking bad has made me realise how terrible the writing for season 5 actually is. its such a shame
I glanced at an episode of CSI the other day for a minute, was actually painful to listen to them read the script. In my opinion the writing i've seen in shows goes The Wire > Band of Brothers > Breaking Bad > Dexter Something along those lines.
but dexter season 1 tops them all it's just fallen so far [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] the wire is excellent too. as is oz [editline]9th December 2010[/editline] also, posted on the dexter facebook http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/michael-c.-hall-christmas-song-12-7-10/1263973 i like michael c. hall lots

Jennifer Carpenter has been dropping hints that Deb will find out about Dexter's secret in the season finale. I never wanted her to, to be honest. :(
I think it would be awesome because if there has ever been a time where Deb would find out and be able to empathise/understand why Dex is doing it, now is the time.

When Deb and Dexter are discussing the vigilante theory in the station I kinda thought the script was setting it up for her to find out.
She pretty much HAS to find out in the season finale. She knows who Lumen is already and that Dexter knows her and wasn't telling anyone else about her. Deb is smart enough to connect the dots.
