is this one of the writers?
What I'm saying is rusty takes things way to fucking seriously like saying skip this season and shit and most of his posts in this thread is basically the same thing. Its fucking annoying and he needs to learn to ignore some things instead of crying about them. If you looked at his posts in this thread it would probably mention every minor little mistake this season has. I can watch a season and accept it as average and still be happy enough with it because it's probably still better than many other shows.
so you're saying he should ignore the seasons bad points and deal with it and not mention anything yeah credibility is now gone [editline]14th December 2010[/editline]
is this one of the writers?
fucking fire this terrible writer and never let him return
so you're saying he should ignore the seasons bad points and deal with it and not mention anything yeah credibility is now gone
No I'm saying he needs to stop repeating himself. I've lost count how many times he's mentioned bad writers and cheesy lines, like we don't get the fucking point.
Agree with rusty, dexter just ended up in exactly the same place as the start of the season. ugh
This season was one giant filler episode.
This season was one giant filler episode.
this i'm left unsatisfied because the season really didn't go anywhere other than saving Lumen but nothing else happened. dexter is still unsatisfied with rita's death, nothing progressed, it's just one big ball of utter filler the most interesting episode was episode 1 for fuck sake with the aftermath of rita
I wanted Deb to find out, dammit!
Lumen, what a shit character. And Julia Stiles is a shit actor, as well as flat faced and ugly. I'm actually going to go OUT OF my way to avoid watching anything where she plays a roll. Horrible garbage shitty season, I'm glad this season ended on such a shitty note so that I'm not even remotely excited for the next season. In the past I was counting down days tell the season starts again. What a shit character. Horrible writing, what happened writers of Dexter? Seriously? I felt nothing by the end of the season, "did you help her? derrrrrr..." "ye I did" time to blow out candle now to set stage for the next season hurrrrrrr deeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrp. Plus Debra's hunch about vigilantes was so dumb. She hardly even had enough evidence to remotely say that one of the barrel girls is going around and killing all the people that raped her. I would be more concerned about them leaving the country or for some reason Jordan is taking them out or something. Vigilantes herp derp. Plus I wanted Debra to find out.
Ehhhh, I'm basically with Rusty on this one. Although he's exaggerating here and there, this entire season didn't really deliver. A few good episodes doesn't make up for a bunch of so-so ones. Its Dexter, a show usually known for great writing, and this season things kind of slipped away. I was very excited to see Lumen go; she had to be gone for next season, it needs a fresh start. IMO next season needs to be really intense, and hopefully either the last OR second last season. If this show goes beyond the 7th season it'll be dragging on far too long, and it's already starting to show signs of aging.
Deus Ex Machina, the TV-Series Also worst Dexter season to date, did they hire new writers or something? Dexter used to be so careful, now he's just reckless; they ruined Dexter's trademark.
What a shit finale. Biggest cocktease in television history. This season really sucked as a whole. Atleast Season 3 had Miguel who was just a ton of fun all around... this season had fucking Lumen, the biggest stick in the mud ever. Not to mention that she's ugly as sin and can't act worth a fuck.
There's no possible way that the thing with Liddy can be over that easily. That in my opinion was the most broken part of the whole season. They're going to have to do something with that later. [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] Ok what the fuck critics are idiots Metacritic scores: Season 1: 77 Season 2: 85 Season 3: 78 Season 4: 79 Season 5: 75 [editline]13th December 2010[/editline] I think towards the end the writers realized that the season wasn't ending up very well and they turned literally every aspect around. Even the kids moving away, pretty much nothing changed.
What does this look like to you guys?
scars
What does this look like to you guys? [img_thumb]http://i53.tinypic.com/a2ant5.jpg[/img_thumb]
scars from being a rape victim.
Oh and in the last scene the ketchup bottle in front of the cake vanishes, then comes back in another shot.
This guy stole my real name, I was first, sue sue sue.
ugh, the ending was increibly saccharine and boring, I really wanted the nanny to die I hope next season is a return to form, because this one was a disappointment.
They should had of had the nanny be one of the killers and Dexter has to save his son or something as the season finale, Jordan chase died too quick. I was expecting some awesome fight scene or something, when she stabbed him I literally said, wait that's it?!
scars from being a rape victim.
She wasn't just raped, she was tortured as well.
It would have been better if Deb walked in and saw Jordan Chase on the table, still alive, and dexter and lumen behind the curtain, and he's screaming at her but he has something in his mouth so he cant say that it's dexter, then deb does the same speech to lumen and dex, and walks out and leaves them to kill chase
Probably the weakest season though I don't think the whole Lumen plotline was too bad it definitely had potential Lots of plot holes in the final as people have pointed out Some I thought of: [sp] -they're pretty likely to do forensics on the room where chase was murdered as it was where all the videos were made etc., so how is deb gonna justify one of her bullets being in the wall -even if dexter altered the bloodwork i still doubt that alone would be enough to get quinn acquitted thus it is still in his interest to say what he knows about dexter, even if he was acquitted would he really keep it to himself[/sp]
Wait, I wasn't really paying attention. Whom car did dexter crash?
Wait, I wasn't really paying attention.
[sp]I would imagine Dexter included extracting the bullet as part of his cleanup. Watching the pilot for the second time: the first in years. Wow it's so much better.
Wow, how they did manage to disappoint so much in a finale... really the two episodes before the final was even more intense. Well at least, they can improve for the next season, they really need to make Dexter amazing again.
