Miguel's roof scene was rather fun to watch, and the scene where the skinner had Dexter captured was also intense.
and masuka got punched in the face.
I just started watching the second season, it's one of the greatest TV shows I've seen yet
You ladies like my new avatar? ;)
Who gives a fuck? He was still a great character and practically carried Season 3 on his own.
I'd much rather rewatch S3 again than have to go through S5 once more.
I agree.
I always considered Season 3 the worst one of them all.
But I think my feelings for the role of "shittiest season" may have gone to Season 5 now.
I'm having a hard time keeping the seasons straight. Trinity is season 4, right? For the life of me, I can't remember what happened in season 3.
Season 5 was like The Pacific HBO series. Way too much to live up to considering what proceeded it, started out kinda shit but ended with several awesome episodes and turned out quite good in it's own respect.
I enjoyed season 5.
That being said, I've already forgotten most of it. It was enjoyable, but certainly not memorable.
I definitely wish (now, at least) that the series had stuck with the plot-line of the books. The latest book was really fucking good, and I would have liked to have seen it re-enacted.

Except The Pacific was genuinely good all the way through.
I know it's maybe a bit too early, but any news on next season?

Just found this, it's pretty cool. Contains spoilers for all current seasons so don't look at it if you haven't seen them

Wow, Dexter has killed a shit load of people.
Also, Season 6 can only be better right? Since the writers can learn of their mistakes from the 5th Season.

No it wasn't, every other post in the pacific thread when it aired was "ooh this episode sucked"/"This episode wasn't as good as episode x of band of brothers"/"this show isn't as good as band of brothers" with the general consensus that the first few episodes of the pacific where a giant letdown but it grew and ended being absolutely sublime in the final episodes.
You know, exactly like the general consensus of season 5 of dexter.
I'v just started watching the first episode.
Does anyone else feel weird for watching Dexter and refrain from telling anyone in case they think you're a psycho murderer?
I usually just say my favorite show is something else. First people ask if you mean Dexter's Lab, and then they look at you weird once you start describing the plot.

Nope, because I know it's just a tv show.
Too much drama now imo.
Is it just me or did Quinn completely change between the end of Season 4 and the start of season 5?
Yeah, Quinn used to be an asshole. Then he suddenly becomes this nice guy just because of Debrah.
Don't know if to watch this or not, he looks like a puff
God damn, this season was a let down. So many moments in the earlier seasons had me enthralled but this had jack shit on them.
This is the kind of shit that I loved about the earlier ones:

Doakes was a really entertaining character.
If only he didn't have that fucking moustache.
I've liked every season to date, you guys are over critical.
Also, Julia Stiles is hot.
Everything you know is wrong.
"Hey Deb, I'm a serial killer".
"What the fuck?, why the fuck would you kill your own breakfast?".
"Dumbass, you so ugly sister".
Deb shoot Dexter.
:lost:
Yeh, Deb is pretty ignorant when it comes to Dexter.

I put plastic bags over all my stuff in my room after watching dexter because I thought it looked cool. I think Pepsi has a point.

He's standing on a box, the actor is actually only 5'10.
no muscle wise
Yeah Doakes is fucking ripped. I would not want to be on the receiving end of a Doake's punch
The only way to defeat Doakes is to head-butt him.
