I really don't see why people thought the season was that bad. I'm just happy I'm not one of those people who point out every single flaw of a show and complain to other people. Instead, I simply enjoy the show.

Season 5 wasn't as good as the previous seasons but I don't get why people would find it THAT bad.

Go watch them all again and compare the storyline, characters, music, Dexter's introspection, the direction, everything, compare them to season five and take note of how different and terrible they truly are in 5. Every time Dexter had an inner monologue in 5, it felt so forced and out of place, and sadly unfunny where the writers figured it would have been. We didn't even see the villain until 3/4 through the season and he turned out to be entirely unremarkable and barely explored, his death is anti-climatic and the whole season felt like some cheap soap opera drama filler.
I don't care what anybody says but to call Season 5 one of the worst things ever is just a stupid statement. Season 5 was still better and more watchable than most crap put out lately.

Actually whats everyones opinion on Quinn? I heard a lot of people don't like him but I actually think hes a pretty good character, considering he knows somethings up and all now.
i like Quinn. I hope he continues to investigate Dexter
