For some bizarre and unforgivable reason though, I didn't watch series 3, and didn't watch 4.

I just finished the 4th season. Even though I knew what was going to happen (read it accidentally), I still almost cried.
4,1,2,3, although all seasons are awesome.
Season 4 made Dexter top House in my book.

I really wish I didn't spoil Season 4 for me, I was just getting sick of the constant subplots and distraction from Dexter himself in Seasons 2 and 3. If Season 4 was filled with them, I wouldn't bother.

I love the intro.
And the show as well. Was going to make a Dexter megathread but search brought up this thread. I'm halfway through Season 3 and am trying to catch up for Season 5 this September!
I absolutely love Dexter Morgan. And I'm pretty obsessive about him, mostly because he's so hot and his dark ways.
The story is absolutely gripping.
Season 1 is about Dexter's past.
Season 2 is about a love drama with Dexter.
Season 3, is so far about Dexter's present life and future.
Also, don't ever go on YouTube or Dexter's facebook page until you're fully caught up. I found out the hard way. Trolls on YouTube be spoiling that [sp]Rita dies[/sp]
I've found myself letting out tears during this emotional rollercoaster. Literally, the up and downs of the show have me exhausted after a good episode.
I've only watched Season 1 of Heroes and that's about it. Before going on vacation I got Season 1 of Dexter to help me through the road trips. Little did I know I was embarking on a obsession with Dexter.

One of my favorite parts of Dexter is the soundtrack, especially in the first season. Dexter's dark narration gets a great contrast with a lot of the chaotic salsa they use. It fits the setting perfectly.
