Season 5 hasn't even started yet here.
dont watch it, the whole season can literally be described in one sentence because absolutely nothing changes from start to finish.
It's true, Dexter literally learns or gains nothing
So I just finished watching Season 5. Above 2 posters, I concur.
dont watch it, the whole season can literally be described in one sentence because absolutely nothing changes from start to finish.
i like how everyone agrees now but when i was saying this at the time everybody jumped on me to blindly defend this piece of shit season
i like how everyone agrees now but when i was saying this at the time everybody jumped on me to blindly defend this piece of shit season
To be fair, I only started watching a couple of weeks ago from Season 1.
i like how everyone agrees now but when i was saying this at the time everybody jumped on me to blindly defend this piece of shit season
i dont know how people could do that. (when i watched it i wasnt checking the forum) but every episode i couldnt believe how bad it was. Almost every episode left me wondering how did the people who wrote the first 4 make this piece of crap. also, after re watching season 4 i realized that the last 2 episodes killed the season for me. imo they were awful mainly because Dexter acted completely un-dexter-like.
I stopped at season 4 forever ago and didn't move on to 5 because everyone said it sucked. Should i watch it anyways just to see the way they went with the series after that?
i like how everyone agrees now but when i was saying this at the time everybody jumped on me to blindly defend this piece of shit season
At the time is was good TV, it just has absolutely no value to the story of dexter as a whole.
I stopped at season 4 forever ago and didn't move on to 5 because everyone said it sucked. Should i watch it anyways just to see the way they went with the series after that?
they went nowhere
Damn it I don't have any way to see any of the seasons past 2 :smith:
awww man, season 3 was my favorite! "They said that stain would come out" favorite line ever
No worries, I got helped by a bro.
Tomorrow I will start my Breaking Bad and Dexter rewatch, can't wait...
Lights Out actor Billy Brown has joined the cast of Showtime’s Dexter. Brown will appear in the sixth season in a recurring capacity, playing the character of Mike Cutler, a no-nonsense Chicago homicide detective who transfers to Miami Metro, where he immediately ruffles some feathers. Brown, who played Patrick “Lights” Leary’s boxing nemesis Richard “Death Row” Reynolds on the short-lived drama Lights Out, has also appeared in Southland, Dirt and Californication. Dexter, led by Michael C. Hall as the title character, is on a roll as of late, securing several actors in key parts for the new season, including Battlestar Galactica vet Edward James Olmos, rapper Mos (formerly Mos Def) and The Good Guys star Colin Hanks. Production began in Los Angeles on Wednesday, with the new season launching in the fall.
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/lights-actor-joins-dexter-key-191726
My favorite fucking show of all time, season 6 must come now. Now. :frown:
My favorite fucking show of all time, season 6 must come now. Now. :frown:
i dont want it to come if its as bad as the last season. I wouldve been ok if they had stopped it after 3 tbh nevertheless i hope it gets better, as unlikely as it seems.
New teaser, no idea what to think of this.
Please, don't bring religion to Dexter.
Please, don't bring religion to Dexter.
I think its supposed to be sarcastic, only time will tell.
Please, don't bring religion to Dexter.
nope looks like a crime scene in a church or whatever
Interesting how he's in his murder clothes at the start, then in his investigation clothes at the end. Maybe the department has found another murder by Dexter?
Brea Grant from Heroes is going to be playing the newest member of the investigation team, a creepy goth woman. Interview seen here: http://youtu.be/OUQdFU9Fxdg
Bump. New trailer, and Season 6 is set to air on October 2nd I've completely rewrote OP of the thread with more info in general and updated the season info. Seems to be there is going to be a religious play in this Season, but thankfully it looks like Dexter is against it.
I tried to start season 5 recently. I don't know if i'm biased because of all the flak I've heard about season 5... but it just seemed absolutely horrible. Everything was off about it. I felt like everything was too forced, especially the emotions of every single character. It didn't feel as if the kid's had actually lost a mom for example, it just sort of felt like they lost a really cool aunt or something. I dunno. the whole season is just... off.
the trailer really reminded me of the girl with the dragon tattoo trailer i like it
hey guys i wonder if this new season will have a religious theme???
I was so surprised at how season 3 ended. [sp]Rita[/sp] shouldn't have died... :(
The new trailers look like shit, I hate where they've taken this show.
I'm lookin' forward to it. I didn't mind season 5 either.
season 5 was shit season 6 trailer is shit i will definitely be watching
