Holy cow i never knew Michael C Hall and Jennifer Carpenter were husband and wife IRL.
They got divorced.
Season 5 and 6 are the new writers. And by writers I mean a bunch of monkeys smeared shit on a stack of paper.
Lumen was the killing blow to this series. It's gonna take alot to recover from that bullshit season.
Looks like this new season won't fix it, but instead kick it while it's down. [editline]17th October 2011[/editline] And then beat the series' dead corpse
A goon made this
latest episode wasn't completely terrible still too many fucking subplots argh
I think it was a big step back in the right direction, although the whole tooth fairy thing did come out of nowhere
I liked the latest episode. Interesting to see the old dude as a worthless, incompetent piece of shit until he shows he isn't as dumb as he looked.
Is anyone else having trouble seeing Tom Hanks son be a bad guy :v:
Is anyone else having trouble seeing Tom Hanks son be a bad guy :v:
I really hope that Edward James Olmos's character isn't Tom Hank's son's imagination, as it feels increasingly so. I want Edward James Olmos's character to be the real baddy and the kid just a stepping stone to him.
I really enjoyed that episode. Especially the last scene, holy fuck. Can't wait for next week.
Religion or not I'm enjoying these new main bad guys. I enjoyed that episode a lot.
This episode is superb. I'm glad too see that Dexter is getting better. Edit: [sp]That hand will decay, Masuka *facepalm*[/sp]
It wasn't superb, but it was a little better. The end certainly was interesting.
It was better but that's because cool things were happening, especially the ending.
Edit: [sp]That hand will decay, Masuka *facepalm*[/sp]
Yeah, I'm wondering where they're going with that. The girl makes me headdesk.
-snip-
I'm thinking (hoping?) that it's something more than her having a hard-on for serial killers. But then again, it's Dexter. Maybe not.

Edit: [sp]That hand will decay, Masuka *facepalm*[/sp]
I thought it was a prosthetic? maybe she's dexter's half sister a storyline straight from the person that stopped laguerta being killed
God fucking damn it, why do they make half of the police officers flirt with other staff? I know it's TV, but fucking hell that's so horribly unprofessional.
I thought it was a prosthetic?
It is. Also eugh at her with her skinny ass up in everyone's grille. And her comment about painting her nails like that 'for a week'. Wow, you're such a ~freak~.
Holy shit, that ending is supposed to represent the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse if I'm not mistaken. Lets see if they can take this religious bullshit to somewhere interesting.
Holy shit, that ending is supposed to represent the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, they explicitly said that in the preview for next week.
[sp]That hot Masuka's chick. What was the point of stealing that hand? . I think the writers wouldn't bring back Ice Truck Killer case witout a reason. I bet she's somehow connected with Brian and Dexter.[/sp], calling it now.

I bet she just stole it because she's so into serial killers. Someone will find out, she will blackmail Masuka, adding the staring to protect her ass. More drama. Don't expect much from these writers... Or would they actually come up with some bullshit story about half-sister?
I really hope Quin dies in this season, the sooner the better. That way the show can go back to being about Dexter, instead of Dexter: and the Misadventures of Debra, Quin, Batista, LaGuerta, and Masuka. All I want is for LaGuerta and Quinn to die in a horrible painful death together That would make up for everything ever
I can say now from what I've seen so far, I've yet to feel any connections to the main characters. With Dexter being so emotionless it's hard even to connect with him.
In the books, Dexter essentially has no emotions. He saves people because it's logical, and kills for the logical reason. With the exception of Book 3, he does things purely because they are deemed necessary to him. I find that a lot easier to connect with, especially with the plot-point of book 3. [sp] He loses the Dark Passenger, and becomes essentially a woman suffering from a few month long periods [/sp] Also, the books are amazingly spiritual, which makes this season a little easier to swallow. Too bad there's nothing about the Dark Passenger.
