My expression when Dexter's renewed for dos más seasons.
Why would you give adrenaline to a dog with a cancer bigger than's its brain? To make it suffer more?

Can't see shit.

It looks like a face lurking in the shadows. Wondering if Gellar could still be in the building with his physique barely visible.

Woah, I imagine that scene being made like that properly, with Gellar just barely visible so it looks creepy and shit.
gellar is in travis' imagination like harry is for dexter
calling it now

they are going to make 2 more seasons of dexter
calling it now
Dexter is going to kill his brother!!!
calling it now!
Eating my words here, Rusty. The writing has slipped, I'll finally agree.
I'm late to watching the new episodes, just watched them tonight.
Fuck me. Sloppiest fucking writing. Season just went downhill drastically.
I constantly find myself defending this show to my family when we watch it
but tonight even I was like sigh what the fuck
I can't believe they will make 2 more seasons. Dexter is one of the shows that should have had about only 5 of them. It would fit with [sp]Rita's death[/sp] that he would maybe turn himself in, somehow finally become truly human, whatever. I don't want to see what they will come up with. Worst thing is, I can't see them saving the show, at least with the current writers.
i wish dexter got colder and darker after [sp]rita died[/sp], would have been so much better than being fucking moody
Rita's death (and essentially that whole season) was great and at the time had me having high hopes for a huge change in the show and Dexter's character.
Instead it was essentially ignored and brought about no changes of real importance. Pissed me off how quickly it was forgotten in the next season. Personally I was expecting Dexter to become more reckless, cynical and ruthless. They really dropped the ball on doing something out of the norm.

Like I've said before, they were right on fucking track in the first episode of season 5, with Quinn onto Kyle Butler and the Arthur Mitchell family lead, and especially when Dexter loses his shit in that bathroom and flat out brains that guy. The fact that they have Laguerta pull Quinn off and just hand the case over to the FBI, which is never followed up on, was a total fucking cop out. Lazy, sloppy. They really should have shown Dexter spiraling out of control, had the dark passenger in the driver's seat, and his struggle to take back control all while keeping the heat off, and of course they could have resolved all his issues with Rita's death and his new role as a single parent aside from some month long rebound that ends for no reason beyond convenience for the shitty writers.
gg guys [sp]its true, Geller has been dead the whole time[/sp]
Any and all hope is lost for this season.

How so? It's been pretty obvious this whole time.
How so? It's been pretty obvious this whole time.
Color me optimistic, but I was still hoping they wouldn't try and pull that.
I was hoping they'd be all [sp]Hey, you thought Geller was dead, but he really wasn't. Fooled ya[/sp] so the season would be slightly less predictable.
everything is terrible about this episode. absolutely everything, debs pointless psych sessions that are pure redundancy, quin and batistas buddy cop drama, lab geek dealing with love problems and woah big deal he has the hand, and obvious twist is obvious with gellar.
wowwwww
fuck you writers!
Fuck it, I'm out. As far as I'm concerned, the series finale of Dexter was the final episode of Season 4. Just going to pretend everything after Season 4 is terrible fanfic.
haha. haven't watched it yet but i love the most recent posts here
didnt read spoilers but that's confirmation enough of what i already suspected
I'd like to take a moment to apologize on behalf of everybody who gave Rusty shit for months of taking the piss out of the show and the new writers. He was right all along; a prophet who foresaw this shitstorm in turdtown.
Unbelievable how quickly this show nosedived.
I don't understand how the original whore (the one that got let go) heard two people if Gellar is dead.
^ It's just terrible writing. You could defend it by saying Travis used a different tone of voice for Gellar, but I find that to be a very weak defense.
Honestly, everybody and their dog was predicting that Gellar would turn out to be not real. My last shred of hope for this show was that they wouldn't be doing a twist that painfully obvious, and here we are. The only satisfaction I'll get out of this season now is laughing at how the writers stumble through concluding it.
God there is so many inconsistencies and events with such low probabilities and just...issues.
so currently watching the latest episode, and there was a moment of technobabble to an almost CSI visual basic gooey level.
I hate american television.

What is that? A scar?
Also lol, at the people who think him being dead was the twist, and not the hand.
Honestly, the whole lead up to the Gellar thing was fucking retarded, but I have a feeling the intern is going to be the focus of the last two episodes.
