You wouldn't ask a chair to become a table YOU WOULDN'T ASK A CHAIR TO BECOME A TABLE
Really hoped Gellar was alive. After everything they did to make it more convincing what with him killing people and putting the religious guy whatever his name was in chains. But guess what guys!! It was him all along!! He chained himself up and killed his sister this makes sense!! Sigh. Everybody walking in on the garden with the woman dressed as an angel is probably the highlight of the season though. I loved that bit. Enjoyed the way the doomsday killings were laid out. Everything else is very very very questionable. Looking past pretty much everything though I'm still managing to enjoy this.
Yeah I'm gonna head over to Rusty's camp, this is just terrible. Pointless melodrama, stupidly pointless sideplots, characters act irrationally and out of character for plot convenience or drama, dialogue and screenplay on par with an uwe boll movie. The only thing still good about dexter is the fact that Michael C Hall still does a good job even though he's being directed by morons. [editline]28th November 2011[/editline] I'm not even gonna finish this, dexter is dead to me now.
Again, I really hope all the loose ends and stupid cop out shit lying around will eventually come back to haunt Dexter in later seasons. I feel like the thin trail he (the writers) has left behind could eventually get him caught. I can hope.
This fucking sums up that episode pretty well. But honestly, the twist was dragged out way too long. But I have a feeling it was a red herring for the even bigger twist of the intern. Which most likely is going to be the focus of the last two episodes with Travis getting killed/caught next episode.
i fucking cringed so bad when they tracked the ip address and the guy they interview was like "yep thats my ip address" no one would do that

Jesus this show has gone downhill, this season feels like the show should be renamed Miami Police Department. So many scenes dedicated to characters we don't care about. The big "twist" of this episode was so obvious and was predicted by everyone since the beginning of the season. I will give the writers one thing, the twist didn't go exactly how we had guessed. Geller was not an imaginary person Forest Gump's son was imagining, and was someone he killed and had blamed the murders on. Feels like I'm just sticking with the show just so I have something to watch Sundays Plus the fact this show is signed for two more seasons is just beating a dead horse
Everyone is rated late in this thread for taking so long to realize how shit this show is now. [editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
I'd like to take a moment to apologize on behalf of everybody who gave Rusty shit for months of taking the piss out of the show and the new writers. He was right all along; a prophet who foresaw this shitstorm in turdtown. Unbelievable how quickly this show nosedived.
And yet he kept watching
Do people who make this even watch it before airing it?
I'm eagerly awaiting Rusty's violent outburst about the latest episode. Should be better than, say, the latest episode
Turns out Gellar is a pretty chill dude.

im currently halfwaythrough season 5, should i even start 6 or leave it as it is after finale?
Same person? (Clarissa Porter) Our little [sp]"Hello whore!" might have been the one who murdered Gellar with the sword of John then.[/sp]
im currently halfwaythrough season 5, should i even start 6 or leave it as it is after finale?
should have ended it at 4.
Was I the only one who got the impression that the shrink was implying Deb has a thing for Dexter?
Was I the only one who got the impression that the shrink was implying Deb has a thing for Dexter?
the writer has better not dare tarnish the series like that i mean that is reprehensible
Was I the only one who got the impression that the shrink was implying Deb has a thing for Dexter?
Incestuous relationships? Are the new writers Japanese by any chance?
Shit. You guys were right all along. I should have listened to all of you. Note to self: stop watching new seasons of Dexter after the season finale. I'm through with this crappy writing. Season 1-4 (Yes, even season 3) were so much fun to watch, but the new seasons are very disappointing so far.
http://www.avclub.com/articles/get-gellar,65598/ i've not watched the episode or the one before (do i get a dexters anonymous ring for that?) but this review makes it seem even worse than nebraska
i actually liked season 3 with Miguel quite alot
Season 3 wasn't necessarily bad, it just wasn't on par with how good the series had been thus far. I especially enjoyed Miguel's [sp]death[/sp] scene, I thought it was well done. Just a good but not great season. Compared to Seasons 5 and 6, however, Season 3 was a fucking masterpiece.
The end of the Trinity seasons should have been the end of all. Would have been best to stop being Dexter before his actions can harm his family even more.
I guess the problem seasons are when Dexter works with other people. Loner Dexter is the true Dexter.
Why do I have a feeling that the psychiatrist is going to figure Dexter out through Deborah?
Kendra, that's the dumbest idea I have ever heard. So, it's probably going to happen.
So interestingly I actually liked season 5. As soon as I found johnny lee miller was playing the baddie I was instantly very excited because Hackers is one of my favorite movies of all time. Anyways couple that with the fact that I actually kinda liked lumen I sort of looked past all the crap and came away with an overall positive experience. On the flip side I didn't really like season 4. I think it has to do with me not quite liking trinity and my opinion that the actors playing trinity's family didn't exactly do a stellar job. Plus there where some low points which I think I got caught up on a bit more than I should have. It's still one of the better seasons but personally it's not my favorite.
Man, he used a motherfucking cellphone with his GHOST DAD. What the hell, ghosts can't use cellphones. [editline]28th November 2011[/editline] Man... I wish they would never have introduced Dexter's GHOST DAD. This shit is just seriously fucking confusing and often nonsensical. Sure I suspected it all along with the Doomsday Killer, but he seriously fucking picked up a cellphone and fucking called his GHOST DAD on the phone, I mean what the hell.
The episode was ok, I liked it better than the last episode, but I really hope that this twist isn't their "HAH I BET YOU GUYS DIDN'T SEE THIS COMING RIGHT?" moment of the season. And overall, I'm still enjoying this season. Yeah the first seasons were better but fuck it.
