Why do I have a feeling that the psychiatrist is going to figure Dexter out through Deborah?
Oh, and then, and then, she teams up with him, she starts killing her [filler emotional enemy #1 and #2], and in the end Dexter has to kill her 'cause he created a monster!
OH MAN I JUST WROTE SEASON 7. I need a fucking prize.
[editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
I wonder how much they pay the Dexter writers
Man, he used a motherfucking cellphone with his GHOST DAD. What the hell, ghosts can't use cellphones.
[editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
Man... I wish they would never have introduced Dexter's GHOST DAD. This shit is just seriously fucking confusing and often nonsensical. Sure I suspected it all along with the Doomsday Killer, but he seriously fucking picked up a cellphone and fucking called his GHOST DAD on the phone, I mean what the hell.
Not arguing in the episode's favor (everybody saw that twist coming lightyears away), but quite obviously things like the phone conversations are going on in his head. If he did actually pick up a phone, he was probably just talking to a dial tone in reality.

It just feels too far fetched. I can sort of understand them having conversations with them when they're walking along or sitting in the passenger seat or things like that, but picking up your cellphone and calling the number to crazyville is just taking it a bit too far for me.

He probably dialed a number that didn't exist that the Geller version of his personality gave him, I don't see why it's so out there. If they're already showing something to the audience that doesn't exist (Geller) I don't see why they can't add an action to that sequence that either technically didn't happen or didn't happen exactly as it's shown.
Didn't Dexter already see a very alive Geller in the church and before going into that office building this episode?
I just love how the writers really think they got use.
Like Geller being dead wasn't painfully obvious from the get go.
they tried to play that off by having travis spot the professor going into the office while dexters eyes were closed, but dexter didn't even question seeing him and just got going so it was stupid.
Didn't Dexter already see a very alive Geller in the church and before going into that office building this episode?
Only Travis ever saw Geller.
In the church, Dexter asked where Geller was and Travis motioned to where he saw him, but Geller was gone when Dexter looked. Outside the office building, Travis saw Geller and then told Dexter, and they got out of the car together.
Like how Dexter was walking around looking for Geller for the last two episodes and what the writers think is a suspenseful moment is completely pointless because we know he's not there. Dexter just walked around playing hide and go seek by himself.

this is the targeted audience of this show, they are all surprised by gellar somehow
[editline]28th November 2011[/editline]
So well-crafted is this series, and this season especially, that the twist-reveal at the end of the episode was something even I didn't see coming! Whew! Gotta love this show!
That facebook page is rough.....
The end of the Trinity seasons should have been the end of all. Would have been best to stop being Dexter before his actions can harm his family even more.
I don't think it should have been the end. Yes, it should have been after seeing the shit show these monkeys defecated onto camera, but had they done it properly, we could have had one final season.
i think jamie might have a prosthetic hand by the end

fight club
but no where near done with the execution that fight club did. Fight club had you convinced Tyler was real and only have very very subtle things that you would only notice after watching it that reveals him to be fake. Here on dexter it was a mystery from the get go, we've known forever, and for them to be like "LOL HES ACTUALLY DEAD, YOU NEVER SAW IT COMING" was just pathetic. I like how dexter, a smart and calculated killer, didnt see it coming at all. cmon.
Could it be possible that Travis only killed Gellar after quitting his "service" and Gellar kept harassing him? Then his conscience/God/ghost Gellar reverted him back to the original plan?

Actually, I kinda saw fight club's twist coming before it was revealed, so it wasn't THAT well kept or whatever.
But I wasn't arguing on whether fight club did a better job on the imaginery friend part, someone complained about Travis talking on the phone, and I mentioned that the same thing happens in fight club.
Well maybe I was arguing on whether fight club did a better job.

dexters was just poorly executed, it just ended up making everything confusing instead and the twist painfully obvious
Holy shit I'm not even kidding I'm watching fight club as I browsed the last few posts.
Why

avatar fits?
This show is really going downhill fast, I stand by what I said mid-season 5 to a friend, They may as well rename the series to "Miami Metro PD but there is also a Serial Killer sometimes".
[editline]29th November 2011[/editline]
Or "Miami Metro PD but there is also a Serial Killer sometimes also ghosts".

Why did you not stop reading the same second you saw the title of the movie?
If I don't want a movie spoiled, I never read things people say about the movie. If I don't want a series spoiled, I don't read the threads until I've seen the episodes.
Wow, I used to love this show so much, but after this episode I don't think I can enjoy it anymore.
I know this is a few episodes late, but it would have been worth the trip to nebraska if Jonah had said "I know you killed my dad" and dexter does "You killed your mother and sister" and then Jonah goes "and. Your. Wife" with a little smug look and then smashes dexter with a tazer like BAM and drags him into the basement and Rudy/Brian/Binie whatever the fuck his name is is like "OH-ho-ho shitttt!"
Even though I saw that twist coming from a mile away, the reveal wasn't absolutely terrible.
And now it seems that the lab geek is MORE THAN HE SEEMS OMFGGgg
Also that sub plot thing with the evil frog lady is going to be totally pointless.
