"Dexter has one FINE body. HOT." "maybe louis is the ice truck killer!!!111" Good to know this show has such an intelligent fanbase.
Oh, and let's not forget... "Here is my prediction about this season , Laguerta and the chief will try to kill Deb but she will get away and then she will figure out the real personality of Dexter and then they begin to hunt together! and their first kill is Laguerta , thump up if you agree"
I know this is a few episodes late, but it would have been worth the trip to nebraska if Jonah had said "I know you killed my dad" and dexter does "You killed your mother and sister" and then Jonah goes "and. Your. Wife" with a little smug look and then smashes dexter with a tazer like BAM and drags him into the basement and Rudy/Brian/Binie whatever the fuck his name is is like "OH-ho-ho shitttt!"
That would've been so much better, and it makes more sense for Jonah to kill Rita anyway (unless I missed something, because I still don't get when Trinity killed her)
I haven't seen the last three episodes and I can easily guess with confidence what kind of twist everyone is talking about. such a shame, the series should have ended two seasons ago. This season started somewhat great, but god damn.
I'm enjoying this season, I enjoyed the reveal. I like the show. yeah this season isn't as good as some of the others, but considering it's only an hour a week, and you have complete free will to watch it or not. I find it provides entertainment, regaurdless if I figured the twist before. Michael C hall is a great actor, and I enjoy the supporting cast and side plots. the show has evolved, or course it's not going to stay the same, but compared to the usual trash on tv nowadays it's still entertaining and it still holds my attention for the duration of the episode.
I am so confused about this twist, it seriously fucks with my mind. Didn't we see Gellar at the university where that professor was grabbed?
I am so confused about this twist, it seriously fucks with my mind. Didn't we see Gellar at the university where that professor was grabbed?
We see Dexter's Dad all the time as well and yet he isn't real. Different characters have different Ghost People.
I am so confused about this twist, it seriously fucks with my mind. Anyway I'm kind of disappointed that thats how it unwinded, but after the ending of the last episode I expected it.
Deb is seeing a GHOST PSYCHIATRIST, calling it.
We see Dexter's Dad all the time as well and yet he isn't real. Different characters have different Ghost People.
Except Dexter's ghost dad doesn't knock him out with a shovel and bring him back to the church.
Except Dexter's ghost dad doesn't knock him out with a shovel and bring him back to the church.
His ghost brother was able to grab a pitchfork and stab a guy while Dex had a gun pointed at him. Ghosts can do all sorts of crazy, illogical things.
Dexter's ghost dad has a ghost dad who has a ghost uncle who has a ghost chef who has a ghost rider who has a ghost Dexter. Calling it now.
I'm half-expecting Casper to get a cameo in the show at this point.
The only thing I could think about during all the chair and table talk was the Lou Reed/Metallica album
That would've been so much better, and it makes more sense for Jonah to kill Rita anyway (unless I missed something, because I still don't get when Trinity killed her)
I actually thought that was what he was gonna say, I was like FUCK YES! then he said some other random shit and I was like -_-
oh my god if you keep using the same plot device it just gets shit I was hoping that gellar would be real
Oh, and then, and then, she teams up with him, she starts killing her [filler emotional enemy #1 and #2], and in the end Dexter has to kill her 'cause he created a monster! OH MAN I JUST WROTE SEASON 7. I need a fucking prize. [editline]28th November 2011[/editline] I wonder how much they pay the Dexter writers
Should I send in an application? I'd make a genius writer for Dexter.
Should I send in an application? I'd make a genius writer for Dexter.
no you forgot the most important part and it was all a dream
no you forgot the most important part and it was all a dream
then who was phone?
I think Masuka's assistant is a [sp]serial killer[/sp]who[sp] kills serial killers[/sp]who[sp]kill serial killers[/sp].
I was expecting the twist since the first episode but I kind of hoped the writers wouldn't do it. Sadly they did. In season 5 I hated many things but one of them was they didn't give the main antagonist enough time to develop. Now you can come here and say in season 3 we had Skinner who also wasn't shown much. But he wasn't exactly the focus of the season, was he now? You can't say that about Chase. The romance plot was outright terrible and the story was driven by tracking and killing the serial killers who we barely get to know. We watched Travis but I feel like everything we saw him do can be forgotten now. In the preview [sp]I saw Travis going mental and insanely aggressive, talking with imaginary Gellar.[/sp] When Dexter talks with Harry we know it happens in his mind, [sp]but no, we Travis we go with the retarded "talking to air" route.[/sp] Now I wonder how no one in the public noticed that. I was thinking [sp]Gellar would be his alter-ego, like Two-Face, that Gellar personality takes over and then he doesn't remember a thing.[/sp] Now I feel like they created whole new character, especially after seeing the preview. You can't have this shy and easily frightened person go [sp]completely batshit angry.[/sp] At least not so suddenly. Oh, and that assistant thing seems like such a waste of time. But if they want to come up with stupid ideas, let them be. These writers had only one good episode and that was episode 1 of season 5.
It makes no fucking sense that [sp] Gellar is a ghost, because that means people saw him talk to himself in PUBLIC. And nobody looked at him like he was crazy or anything.[/sp] This show is fucking stupid now.
Gellar and Travis are actually brilliant characters on paper, but their huge potential was wasted by bad writing.
I was thinking [sp]Gellar would be his alter-ego, like Two-Face, that Gellar personality takes over and then he doesn't remember a thing.[/sp]
That is what happened.
Actually, I kinda saw fight club's twist coming before it was revealed, so it wasn't THAT well kept or whatever. But I wasn't arguing on whether fight club did a better job on the imaginery friend part, someone complained about Travis talking on the phone, and I mentioned that the same thing happens in fight club. Well maybe I was arguing on whether fight club did a better job.
Maybe I'm not that observant, but I watched Fight Club for the first time years after it came out, and I honestly did not expect the end twist at all. It was the first time (at least in awhile) a twist in that vein [sp](something/someone being completely in the main character's head)[/sp] actually made me say "oh, snap."
That is what happened.
So far yes, but I recommend you watch the preview so you get ready for a big character change.
I was hoping that they wouldn't be this predictable. [sp]I was hoping for something like Gellar being held prisoner by Travis or something, but nope. He's just dead like we all expected.[/sp] [editline]1st December 2011[/editline]
Deb is seeing a GHOST PSYCHIATRIST, calling it.
LaGuerta dies and then Deb has a GHOST CAPTAIN.
i enjoy reading this thread a lot more now because now we are just making fun of the bad writers and these ghost jokes are hilarious [editline]30th November 2011[/editline]
I think Masuka's assistant is a [sp]serial killer[/sp]who[sp] kills serial killers[/sp]who[sp]kill serial killers[/sp].
i really want that to be true now, that would be hilariously terrible.
I don't think I can bring myself to recommend this show anymore knowing that it will never have a satisfying conclusion and the best option is just to stop at a massive cliffhanger
LaGuerta dies.
Now there's an idea....
