but you can't tell me you didn't get a doakes vibe when he was walking out the room and said "this is fucking bullshit" or something along those lines
i didn't at all
I keep wishing that somehow, someone will make a connection to the bay harbor butcher with something Dexter does. I'd like to see Dexter forced to try and cover up his tracks again.
agreed but you can't tell me you didn't get a doakes vibe when he was walking out the room and said "this is fucking bullshit" or something along those lines
oh no an african american is saying bad words hes just like doAKKKKESSSSS
i didn't at all
then you are not [del]racist[/del] imaginative enough [editline]14th December 2011[/editline]
oh no an african american is saying bad words hes just like doAKKKKESSSSS
because the 'no-bullshit straight to business' muscled african american cop isn't a common stereotype or anything
agreed but you can't tell me you didn't get a doakes vibe when he was walking out the room and said "this is fucking bullshit" or something along those lines
i don't remember anything from the last episode it wasn't very good.
I actually realized one thing. Once Travis realized Gellar was ghost he stopped appearing. Granted Travis turned into a psychopath after that. This is just a thought out of boredom so I have no conclusion. Maybe that the writers are idiots.

poor edward james olmos
I just watched the first episode of season one and in light of this, I feel compelled to say that this season is, by comparison, the biggest piece of shit to have ever disgraced television. Honestly, season one is just so fucking great. Dexter doesn't even have a character in this season, whereas it used to be that every line showed you something interesting about him. Fucking writers.
poor edward james olmos
Even when Edward James Olmos is playing a wolf the writing is better: [thumb]http://vps.marlamin.nl/u/Screenshot-2011-12-13_17.34.17.jpg[/thumb]

After that scene, Gellar became obsolete; Travis' dark passenger had essentially killed off the "good" part of Travis.
so dexter films himself acting like a religious loon and sends the video to a mentally unstable psychopath who could very easily send the video to the Miami PD

The only way I can figure it, it's supposed to be like Travis was subconsciously using Gellar as a scapegoat for all his crazed religious nonsense, and once he realized what was going on he just let that part of him out completely. But I mean really, this is just speculation on poor writing, they probably didn't think about it that hard.
so dexter films himself acting like a religious loon and sends the video to a mentally unstable psychopath who could very easily send the video to the Miami PD
yeah but bombs and explosion fuck yeah! [editline]13th December 2011[/editline] TESTOSTERONE!
Still happens every now and then, the latest episode had the "Bukkakee Bukkakae" joke.
that was pretty funny if you ask me
This show became so predictable, the minute that doctor mention dizziness i exactly knew what was gonna happen.
This show became so predictable, the minute that doctor mention dizziness i exactly knew what was gonna happen.
especially when dexter had the attitude "oh its nothing, i need to get this kill, hurr derr," what happened to the cautious, calculated dexter.
Doctors are for chumps.
especially when dexter had the attitude "oh its nothing, i need to get this kill, hurr derr," what happened to the cautious, calculated dexter.
he has to protect his sister so its personal!! also maybe dexter is just mad he got caught up in trying to save travis and when he found out travis was insane he really wanted to end him or something idk seems logical...
Thank fuck that one scene was a dream. I was cringing like fuck throughout it all, and if that goes any further then the writers need to be lined up and shot.
The writers really need to make Dexter remember his number one rule again; don't get caught.
My biggest issue with this season is none of Dexter's actions seem to have repercussions. In Season 4 he gets cocky and it gets Rita killed. In this season he goes around breaking into areas after peaking inside for a second to check if anyone's home and then sending video evidence that could implicate him somehow straight to Travis yet absolutely nothing negative has happened to him.
This, so much. I couldn't believe it when he sent that video to Travis. Are you fucking kidding me? He knows better than that. Please stop disappointing me, Dexter.
I actually thought the end of the last episode could have had much more impact if it was directed with a bit more pace and suspense, same goes for a lot of the scenes, if we were inside Dex's head when this was all happening (like when the tree trimmer dude had him tied up on the table and he was talking about caging a lion or whatever) then it'd show more of a connection with the main character as well as it being pretty bad ass when we hear dexter think under pressure
If any of you still think that this season is any good at all, I strongly advise that you watch season one again. Then you can hate it too!
The only reason i still watch this is too see how it is revealed that Dexter is a serial killer. Not interested in anything else anymore.
The only reason i still watch this is too see how it is revealed that Dexter is a serial killer. if the next season is confirmed to have the same writers as this season, then i am straight up not watching it. rip dexter
I forgot, why did they replace the previous writers?
I forgot, why did they replace the previous writers?
They were baka gaijins
