No one has mentioned that geek sending the hand to dexter yet. What do you guys think that's about? I don't have any ideas but i'm sure its fucking stupid going off every other subplot they chuck in there just to let it die in the ass.
Seriously, first season.. dexter covered his tracks and was careful. What's this bullshit.. walking onto a campus and nailing a hand to a statue while writing over it in blood. seriously? someone easily could have caught him doing that. and the video evidence thing, man.. dont even get me started. he could have at least linked travis to it online so it could be deleted afterwards.

You know, what wouldn't surprise me. I'm just laughing now thinking of Rudy appearing over Geek's shoulder while he's writing on the arm. Fuck sake, anything is possible now. Dexter is a total comedy if you watch it with friends who used to love it as much as you.
and you know something else - if they decided to do that - which is literally possible. they would have had the rudy actor film it when he was back on set.
And the season finale is Geek's Rudy vs Dexter's Rudy fighting it off in a Godzilla vs Mothra-esque scenario.

nope, im done. This completely ruined dexter for me, i dont give a shit if they have some plot with the geek carry over into the next season. I could care less. Once this season is over, im going into my DVR and cancelling the series recording of Dexter.
Bringing Rudy back again was a waste of time. It had potential, but they used it as a cheap device to pick up a clearly lagging season. What might have been good is if they had used it as an end-of-season cliffhanger, then spent the entirety of next season exploring the idea of Dexter losing Harry as his moral compass, and having Rudy instead.

Yes. If entire season would focus on bringing Brian/Rudy back, making Dexter careless and coldblooded killer - it would be great.

That would make a lot more sense than this season - suddenly making Dexter act ridiculously recklessly for no reason after he got his wife and the mother of his child killed about a year ago (and consequently should be a lot [i]more[/i] concerned with covering up his tracks).

I was really disappointed by how Dexter explained the stabbing of the Christian guy in the boat, there was nothing there to suggest where and how he was stabbed.

Oh well as bad as this season has been I'm still looking forward to seeing how everything pans out. Don't really care about Travis anymore. Just want to see if the next season is set up to be any good. I feel like the intern guy will be more important next season since his little plotline is only getting addressed now.
Not got very high hopes for next season though. Especially if it's the same writers ):
they'll probably address and finish the geek plotline in like 20 minutes, wasting all the time they spent on it
for instance, that 20 second cameo by Brian? I thought, hey wow, crazy dexter without emotion, this might end well. they could have used that to put a completely different spin on the last half of the second.
