2 was awesome and I liked Lila. I liked everything about Dexter until season 4 was over. [editline]28th January 2012[/editline] How else should he have died? I thought it worked well considering Dexter's predicament.
Still, dying because "OOH I LOVE THE DEXTERS AND YOU'D TURN HIM IN!!" is still kinda... bah.
Everyone keeps saying to watch just season 1-4, but am I the only one that hated season 2? That dumb bitch was so infuriating, but what I hated the most was how they just went back on everything dexter was supposed to be. The police never knew about dexters murders for years and then right away he fucks up huge and there's a huge scandal about it, and at the same time starts falling for this chick he just met? I thought he couldn't feel emotions so why would he get so uptight about this girl? I always thought it would have made more sense if this wasn't the 2nd season and maybe like the 4th when dexter has been through some shit and starts slipping, not right away after the first season.
didn't like it the first time i saw it, enjoyed it very much the second.
Just finished 3 ill get 4 asap. My mate says 3 is best over all and last 3 episodes of season 2 are the best in the entire series.
just finished season 6, [sp]lol deb totally wants to bone dexter[/sp]
Just finished 3 ill get 4 asap. My mate says 3 is best over all and last 3 episodes of season 2 are the best in the entire series.
wrong wrong wrong before season 5 and 6 (the awful ones), season 3 was definitely the weakest, with the best being the first season
first season is best, its not even a contest. its just a fact. season 2 is great, season 3 is okay but weak, season 4 was a return to form being slightly better than 2 but still not as great as 1, and 5 was like total destruction of the series. 6 was stabbing a dead horse
6 is worse than 5 so many gaping plot holes just in the finale
Even though s6 was kind of shit, I really wanna see what happens next since [sp] Deb saw Dexter stick that guy with a knife and all.[/sp]
Even though s6 was kind of shit, I really wanna see what happens next since [sp] Deb saw Dexter stick that guy with a knife and all.[/sp]
She and Dexter is going to have hot incest knife sex with lots of blood and emotions. [editline]5th February 2012[/editline] I know I've posted this before but... Well, it's simply my favorite Dexter clip ever [sp]Dexter, playing Halo 3 with atari sounds on a computer while only using the keyboard.[/sp]
[sp]This season was seriously poor, but the next promises to be better now that the secret is FINALLY out... It's definitely dragged a bit recently, but now they have a chance to reinvent the show and actually move in a new direction rather than the constant close misses of being almost found out, but somehow getting away with it.[/sp]
Awesome. Just finished Breaking Bad, for now, and am looking forward to starting Dexter. Sweet!
As long as dexter goes back to actually being a kind of badass I'll be happy. I mean it was interesting in season one how he'd happily saw up people alive yet now he just knifes them in the heart. Basically his "kill tool bag" should be a kitchen knife in a sheath and some glad wrap. I'm assuming it was to make the show less brutal, but I liked the idea of a horribly bad example of a human being. Doing good deeds with it. Now it's just an emotional guy who hallucinates about his dead step father who kills guys if they don't pay their parking ticket. Hoping they pick it up for season 7.

YES, Finally Dexter got caught about his psycho-shit to someone that he can't just kill! So this is definitely getting interesting. But still, the first few seasons were the best so I hope for some changes in some parts, it's getting too cliche-ish and all glossy.. if you get that.
did anyone ever figure out how[sp] dexter didn't get knocked out by that shot he gave himself at the end of season 6?[/sp]
no he just stuck it in, didnt inject travis apparently just falls for it thats seriously how bad the writers are
wow that's just incredibly lazy [editline]19th February 2012[/editline] and the "shocking" "twist" i usually suck at predicting shit like that, but it was painfully obvious. i actually thought they hade made it so obvious on purpose just to fuck with us, but nooo
I thought the twist was going to be that they actually were two separate people...
I always felt that the professor was like Harry is to Dex, as in just imaginary. Didn't how he was stuck in a freezer though. But yeah.. there's some lazy and bad writing. Why? New writers brought to the table or what?
Yeah and they don't have to try as hard because the show already has a pretty established fanbase, a lot of which likes shitty soap opera drama
no he just stuck it in, didnt inject travis apparently just falls for it thats seriously how bad the writers are
im surprised they didnt pull some Princess Bride cliche and have Dexter say he built up an immunity to the tranquilizer.
no he just stuck it in, didnt inject travis apparently just falls for it thats seriously how bad the writers are
No, he stuck it in and injected. The showrunner explained it in an interview
In the finale on top of the skyscraper, are we to assume Dexter had a dummy needle prepared, so that’s why he wasn’t unconscious after injecting himself? It was not a dummy needle. We didn’t answer that question, but we had an answer for it. It was just a little awkward to slip it into the footage. We showed him emptying the needle seconds beforehand, but it didn’t look right [in post-production]. We tried to address it in voiceover, it just became awkward and cumbersome.
http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/12/19/dexter-finale-interview/ It's on the second page. That being said, the writers are still terrible, especially for not even trying to explain this during the show.
jesus christ thats literally awful. 'we couldnt work in a key element to that scene so we just left it out lol!' fucking hell
Wouldn't Dexter have being injecting air into his blood then? I'm pretty sure that would fuck him up a little bit.
ye im pretty sure injecting air can be lethal
it was heroine, dexter was high as fuk
Wouldn't Dexter have being injecting air into his blood then? I'm pretty sure that would fuck him up a little bit.
I'm pretty sure there can be risks to sticking your body with things.. Like air bubble going inside your vein as suggested above. But if you briefly stick a needle in and out of your neck, not injecting anything (which was obvious to me in the episode) then I don't see no harm done.
if he didn't inject it, travis should've noticed.
