If your son/daughter were to get a sex change, would you think of them any differently?

I wouldn't think of them any differently, but that may be because in the past years I've suffered from mild gender dysphoria and had issues with my own gender myself (wanting to be a boy rather than a girl, being uncomfortable with my body); but even if that wasn't the case, it'd be their choice, and as long as they put a lot of thinking into their decision, it wouldn't bother me at all.
"well though out argument"
If you're going to insult me don't spell something wrong moron.
if a typo is the only thing you can think of to counter his argument, im sure that your own argument was great to start with
If every day of my life for like 15 years, I was saying "Hey son, want to go play some ball?" or something like that, and then one day my son was a girl... I would not know what to say/do.
I'd also be disturbed by the fact that I would be talking to my previous son, now daughter. What do you say to that
"Hey Caleb, how's your son doing?"
"Oh yeh. Shes just fine."
Well obviously I'd think of them differently if they suddenly grew/lost a penis, but not negatively, they'd still be my child and such.

IM gay and i'd be alright with it
Why do you have to fucking constantly throw that around when it is irrelevant to the topic?
You make us queers look like attention whoring idiots. Stop it.
I don't think so. I've hung out with odd (LGBT) crowds long enough to know people who want/are having sex changes and it doesn't bother me a great deal.
In fact, I'd feel sorry for them because I've seen how painful it can be for someone to have a mismatched physical and psychological gender.
I'd think that I have failed as a parent for raising my child insecurely.
Adapting to the change would be weird but I'm sure it'd become normal to me after a month or two.

AhahaahahahahahahahahhaahhahahahahahahahHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHhahahahahahaha.
I wouldn't look at it the same, it would certainly suggest that the child is incredibly insecure, a whiny git who couldn't handle anything so they ran to the sex change clinic to make it all better.
almost disown
No, I wouldn't really care. My only concern would be how would society react upon them.
Then again, I'm gay, so I guess I'm just more tolerant.
ok my answer is yes but with this condition you have to think of them differently because now they are female or male and they are treated differently in society HOWEVER i would treat them no differently than anyone of their gender ever fully transistioned or not but then again i am also a MTF trans so this is also what i seek in general

nobody cares if you are gay also how does being gay suddenly make you more tolerant.

because gays and transgenders face similar discrimination from society, you tool
Any rational human being would think of them differently. If you say you wouldn't, you're lying unless you knew they would want a sex change since they came screaming out of your/your wife's vagina.

Or maybe because some people aren't insensitive dickheads and would love their child for who they are?

Point out where I was being an insensitive dickhead and said they wouldn't love them, please.
You can think of someone differently in a positive or neutral way, it doesn't have to be negative.
In any case if it were my son or daughter, while I would naturally think differently of them because they are likely different from how I imagined them (who honestly raises a child expecting him/her to be transgender?), I would still love them all the same. It's their body and they can do with it as they please.

And I was supposed to know your deeper meaning of your post based off a very vague post?
A part of me would always see him/her as a guy/girl.
I would hate them

I thought I was being rather obvious.
Of course not. If it's their choice I'd respect it and not treat them any different.
I'd probably contact my local hezbollah and get him/her stoned to death.

weed doesn't kill
i'd treat them the same because i'm tolerant of all types of people. :buddy:

Why is Soda doing boxes in here rather then the programming section?
Sarcastic: If my son went male to female, I'd ask for his balls so I could have two pairs of testicles :v:
Realistic: I wouldn't think of my son/daughter any different than I do now.
I wouldn't care a ton if they were gay/lesbian but getting a sex change is stupid
I'd tell them to go to a shrink.
