didnt you like kenneth branaghs thor lol
Busted! Yes I did like that you are quite right comrade. We are all allowed our guilty pleasures.
They will probably go down the [sp]life model decoy road but I hope they have thought of something more interesting.[/sp]
They are probably not going to since he [sp]bled[/sp] last episode.
Honestly I think it's a double bluff
They are probably not going to since he [sp]bled[/sp] last episode.
Could be [sp]fake robot blood.[/sp]
phil coulson, representative of S.H.I.E.L.D. i require your clothes, your boots and your motorcycle
Well I read in an interview something about what it could be. [sp] I don't remember the interview well but I think they said something Bout magic. And I was like oh man referencing sorcerer supreme. But probably not. [/sp]
i was just thinking this as well, would be a neat tie-in for the phase 3 film.
the show is a little cheesier than the MCU movies but it isn't bad. I kinda dislike how they changed coulson's character though that bit where he yelled at that girl in the first episode was pretty awkward
Is it just me, or did anyone else think of Mass Effect with the whole [sp]aquarium gag?[/sp] Anyways, solid episode.
God why are the reviews of this so scathing. It's fun family friendly TV. It's not Breaking Bad and it's not trying to be. Hell even compared to other Family TV like Doctor Who it feels lacking and not very ambitious. It's not very original. But it's not nearly as bad as some make it sound. It's a popcorn flick on the small screen.

It's not groundbreaking and most likely won't require much thought when watching but I'll be damned if I don't find it entertaining and charming as hell.
The only thing I can really complain about with this show is the cinematography. Compared to the rest of Joss's catalog it's appalling. [editline]8th October 2013[/editline] And one other thing- did anyone else notice that one of the callsigns given to the Bus was 616?
That was a fucking great episode. Ladies and gents, we have our first supervillain on the show!
We got another hint towards [sp]The Life Decoy Theory during Coulson's muscle memory comment[/sp] tonight. Also that ending along with the Wii U's TVii's posting makes it seem like [sp]Graviton will return[/sp]. The Wii U posting via gamepad [sp]right after Dr. Hall falls in[/sp]: http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b196/Starmenclock/image_zps61c2b909.jpg [sp]This was before we knew he survived the merge[/sp].
This is big. [sp]Final end-of-season battle against Graviton with an Avenger? Please?[/sp] This was by far the best episode yet. Coulson's a badass, but again we have this weird thing with death. [sp]He didn't have what it takes to pull the trigger. At least not directly at Hall. This goes back to his "there's always another way" thing from the first episode and the way he keeps trying to keep everyone he can alive since his death.[/sp]
that theory [sp] I hope hes not a life decoy, even though thats seeming more likely. I'm hoping death and magic just messed him up. [/sp] Also I'm really liking where the story is going!
Notice the way people talk about him though. [sp]If you get in a car crash and your heart stops beating, people say you "almost died." People say that Coulson "died." Full stop. And they always do this when he's out of ear-shot.[/sp] Also notice how Coulson [sp]was knocked unconscious in this episode from a concussion. I'm fairly certain LMDs don't do that.[/sp] My personal theory is that Coulson himself is another one of SHIELD's experiments in some capacity, maybe another form of super-soldier program or a cloning experiment. Whatever the case may be, "Tahiti" could be where another clone was awoken and given false memories. I stand by the idea that any sort of "clone" or "LMD" theory would be a total cop-out.
-snip, didn't read-
The show's been picked up for a full season http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/10/10/agents-of-shield-full-season/
I would prefer it if it was a 13 episode season so it would limit the procedural aspect but, whatever I guess.
Every episode is getting better and better. That ending to the 3rd. Man i cant wait to see what happens to him
excellent, this show is really picking up (and the cgi is pretty impressive for a tv budget), and now that it's gonna stick around even longer is great news.
The show reminds me of 'Chuck'.
excellent, this show is really picking up (and the cgi is pretty impressive for a tv budget), and now that it's gonna stick around even longer is great news.
The level of VFX in Avengers is insane though:
The characters are really coming into their own, the fact that Skye was probably the best aspect of the episode instead of a cameo or Coulson means a lot.
By the way, reading the user reviews for this show in any site is high-larious. Since Franklin Hall appeared in last week's episode, are there any other characters you guys hope to see? I am crossing my fingers for She-Hulk, or at least just Jennifer Walters.
Help.
Next weeks episode looks better!
Well the [sp]mysterious organized organization from today's episode sounds a lot like HYDRA[/sp]. Also, next week's episode looks amazing, [sp]since we are either getting Pyro, Match, or a completely new villain and Sky gets caught[/sp].
[sp]I don't want to see Skye go...[/sp]
[sp]I don't want to see Skye go...[/sp]
I doubt [sp]she will be going anywhere, since she seems to be serving the role of the 'companion' to Coulson. It is probably a misleading preview like last week's one was[/sp]. Also, [sp]I bet the agent they saved this week will be a main character replacement for one of the others soon, since Whedon likes to kill off his characters[/sp].
