Can't believe the girl who plays Skye is 21. My age. She looks mid or late 20's. Maybe it's just the character.
Shes only 21? So i have a chance?!

The effects are pretty damn good for a TV show at times!
I have a feeling that Joss will eventually kill off half of Fitzsimmons just so the survivor has to deal with it.

[editline]25th October 2013[/editline]
I have a feeling that Joss will eventually kill off half of Fitzsimmons just so the survivor has to deal with it.
Probably not this season, though.
Hmm I wonder if the [sp]floating bodies[/sp] from the next episode are somewhat related to the floating stuff seen on Thor 2 trailer
So if Coulson and the team are Level 7, and the episode "The Hub" features a Level 8 mission with Agent Sitwell, does that mean Sitwell is higher ranked than Coulson?
Probably not this season, though.
Well of course you have to develop an emotional attachment to the character before he brutally murders them and steps all over your feelings.
Well of course you have to develop an emotional attachment to the character before he brutally murders them and steps all over your feelings.
He did kill one of Angel's main characters in the first season's eighth episode. Then again [sp]that was an idea he wanted to use on Buffy, but couldn't because of producers. Plus, the character was planned replaced by Alexis Denisof as Wesley anyway.[/sp] It's not entirely unheard of for Joss, but I don't think he'll do the same thing twice.

Even the Tesseract was only Level 7.

Good thing I'll watch it this afternoon!
Apparently Thor: The Dark World was pretty damn good and better than the first Thor.
That's a pretty interesting idea for tying the show in with current movie releases.
interesting, but bad what if someone can't see the film but is a fan of the tv show?
interesting, but bad what if someone can't see the film but is a fan of the tv show?
I think they'll deal with it in a way that people who have and haven't seen the movie will get it, with some subtle references for the former and some encouragement to watch the movie with the latter.
interesting, but bad what if someone can't see the film but is a fan of the tv show?
What if someone hasn't seen the first thor, or the avengers? What if someone has no knowledge of all these marvel comicbook hero's and villains that haven't been in a movie yet and are referenced all over the place?
What if someone hasn't seen the first thor, or the avengers? You can wait until you've seen the movie.. They can wait a week or two until they've seen the movie before watching the next episode. Or not wait, their choice. It's ridiculous to not let them do the tie-in just because some people might not have the time to go watch the movie.
You don't, you now, have to watch the next episode as soon as it's out. You can wait until you've seen the movie..
I'm going off to watch the movie in 2 hours, I'm not attacking this tie-in.
I'm going off to watch the movie in 2 hours, I'm not attacking this tie-in.
Have fun, it's really good (imo) :)
interesting, but bad what if someone can't see the film but is a fan of the tv show?
I don't think the show will hinge itself on whether or not someone has seen the movie. Sure, it'll probably have some nice similarities/references, but nothing that could prevent it from being enjoyable.
Having seen the movie, I know what the "aftermath" they'll be dealing with is, and I can say they can easily explain it in a couple of lines, but I don't know how they won't make it so spoiler-ish.
A tie in is a great idea. But.. You can either make it so it's absolutely necessary to see the film, thus alienating a lot of the audience (people don't always have the money/time for cinema. People have busy jobs and shit). Or you can make it so there's hardly any cross over at all. Which makes you wonder what the point is at all? It seems to me it's a clear marketing scheme to get people to go see the film. Why couldn't such story be saved until the next series? Considering the show is getting a fair amount of criticism, you'd think they'd try to fix it up a bit instead of just turning it into a money spinner. I enjoy this show but I can't help but feel it's there to sell action figures, and now movies. In a couple of years it will be milked for all it can before being cast away in favour of a sudden Disney financing focus on Star Wars.
the tie in will probably consist of "hey remember that thing that happened in england?" "yeah it was nuts"
he touched lola he seriously touched lola, that monster
I have to admit, when [sp]Simmons jumped out of the plane and the show cut to commercial[/sp], I almost cried. I didn't expect a show like this to deliver so many tear-jerking moments in one episode. Also, [sp]They showed Coulson's scar from when he got stabbed, so combined with all the other evidence I'm fairly certain we're looking at the real Coulson and not an LMD or Clone, unless SHIELD went through painstaking efforts to make everything look legit.[/sp]
